International Awards for Innovation in Health
(IAIH)
Hosts: GKEN and i-genius
The Global Knowledge Exchange Network on Health (GKEN) has 60 high level delegates from 12 countries committed to sharing better practice in health and wellness. It hosts a series of seminars with world health leaders and co-hosted the health promotions awards program in Rome 2010. It’s latest initiative, GKEN Health Intelligence International is designed to assist executives expand into new markets.
i-genius is a world community of social entrepreneurs with members in138 countries. It encourages partnerships between social entrepreneurs and stakeholders, provides training and educational support and undertakes media promotion campaigns. It has organized a series of prestigious events and was promotions partner for the Rome 2010 awards.

Overview
International Awards for Innovation in Health (IAIH) honours the finest innovations around the world in health and wellness
Building on the success of Rome 2010, hosted by GKEN and URAC, this new programme will combine an Awards ceremony with a two day symposium providing a rich learning experience for a diverse group of participants
The organisers are confident IAIH 2012 will spark such excitement, curiosity, and interest as to make it a world leader in championing health and wellness innovation

How it works
Phase 1 – Award programme announced and call for entries six months prior to event. Website and social media deployed to up-date public on new entries
Phase 2 – Finalists selected two months before symposium. Media promotion of finalists
Phase 3 – Two day symposium combining finalists presentations (includes introductory film), extensive participants dialogue, judging and announcement of winners. Press conference and full media promotion
Phase 4 – up to 12 months on-going promotion of winners to enable the public to follow and learn from their progress, and provides hosts/sponsors with additional promotional opportunities
