Asper School of Business offers business studies at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Students come

from around the world to be part of our vibrant community of learning.

The Asper School of Business’s objective is to provide manage-ment education in Manitoba by creating and disseminating leading edge knowledge and developing skills relevant to managers in or-ganizations operating in a global

environment. The School places equal emphasis

on teaching and

research within an academic en-vironment of intellectual freedom and continuous improvement. The School produces high quality research and offers selected high-quality undergraduate, graduate and executive programs, while fulfilling its commitment to university, community, and professional service.

Academic excellence recognized internationally The Asper School of Businessis accredited by AACSB Interna-tional, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. This accreditation puts the Asper School in an elite group, as less than 5% of business schools worldwide earn this international recognition. AACSB International is an association of more than 1,100 educational institutions,

businesses and other organizations in 70

countries dedicated to the advancement of man-

agement education worldwide.

In December 2009, the Society of Actuaries, the largest actuarial profes-sional organization in the world, recognized the Asper School as a Centre of Actuarial Excellence.

Asper MBA: Leadership learning. Strategic networking Our program is distinguished by face-to-face instruction, an enriched cohort model, a curricu-lum that provides depth, breadth and diversity of experience, and a focus on networking.

International Student Tuition and Administrative Fees:

• Whole program $33,500

• Annual scholarships valued up to $5,000 for international students

MBA Program Specializations Accounting: In partnership

with Canada’s Certified Man-agement Accountants (CMA), students can simultaneously earn an Asper MBA as well as their professional accounting designation in as short a period as two years.

Finance: Drawing on a seasoned and recognized School expertise in investment finance, students can earn a finance specialization as part of their MBA.

Entrepreneurship: Working with the School’s Stu Clark Centre for Entrepreneurship, the Asper MBA offers students the opportunity to compete and win Business Plan Competitions around the world.

Asper MSc Our program has a research orientation, requires a thesis, has an in-depth curriculum in a particular discipline of Manage-ment, and involves one-on-one work with faculty mentors.

International Student Tuition and Administrative Fees:

• Approximately $10,000 for the first year

• Approximately $700 for con-tinuing fees in years three onward

Asper PhD Our program distinguishes itself with a dual focus on research and teaching skills in order to prepare graduate students for careers as business scholars. Areas of study include Finance, Marketing, and Business Administration. All PhD graduates found job placements, for example at Penn State University (USA), Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Monash University (Australia).

International Student Tuition and Administrative Fees:

• Approximately $10,000 each year for the first two years

• Approximately $700 for con-tinuing fees from Year Three on

Faculty-based support

• Up to $21,500 per academic year (not guaranteed)

• Other funds may be available through research grants and university-wide grants

Centre for Higher Education Research and DevelopmentCHERD provides professional development programming regionally, nationally and internationally for university and college administrators at all levels, from entry level to presidents.

Executive Education ProgramThe Executive Education Program offers Professional, Open Enrolment, Custom Design and Outreach courses.
