To Create an Object Use the mouse to drag out the object in one of

the viewports

Hint For a box: click hold and drag a square, let go, and drag the height. Then click to finish the box.

Creating objects It take some practice to get used to creating the

different shapes.

Moving things around Click on an object to select it Right click to get a menu

Click ‘move’, ‘rotate’ or ‘scale’ The tripod (the red, green and yellow thing in the middle

of the object) will change Click on different parts of the tripod and drag to move,

rotate or scale the object.

Textures Textures are put into ‘materials’. Press ‘m’ to open and close the material editor The balls are all different materials. You can

pick a blank one or change an existing material.

Textures Once you have selected a material

In the middle of the material editor you can see the word ‘diffuse’.

Beside that is a grey rectangle box Click this to change the colour

Beside that is a small light grey square box Click this to load a texture

Textures Textures can be any image file

Jpgs Bitmaps Gifs Pngs …

Applying the Texture Once the material is ready the ball should

change, it’ll have your colour or texture Drag it to your object
