We at MCC, expect all the participants to adhere to the following Rules and Regulations for the smooth conduct
of Mahaveer Youth Fest (MYF) and Jeux.-2017:
All participants are requested to send their entries for participation latest by 12
Registration forms to be submitted (in person/ through mail/on the spot).
Each participant must produce an identity card, with photograph duly signed by the head of the
institution, valid for the current year, whenever required.
Registration Fees is Rs. 200 /- Team (Per Event) and 100/
Participating team should report at the College latest by 8:30 am
No accommodation and conveyance facility will be provided by the College
Please do not carry any sharp objects/inflammable object/beverages with alcoholic
content/drugs/cigarettes and anything which would potentially disrupt the smooth functioning of the
event.
Participants will be solely responsible for their belongings.
The decision of the judges/umpires will be final and binding on all.
The organizers reserve all the rights to make changes in the schedule of the event.

Rules & Instructions:
Participating team should report at the college latest by 8:00 am.
Each team will comprise of minimum 3 players and maximum 5 players.
Each college will send one responsible staff member as Manager/Coach with the team.
College will provide Badminton Cock and TT Ball for matches.
All the participants are requested to report to the chief referee at least 30 minutes prior to the
commencement of their match.
All the matches will be played according to the rules of Table Tennis and Badminton
Federation of India as adopted by them from time to time.
The individual and team championship shall be organized on Knockout basis.
The matches up to Semi-Final stage will be played as best of three games, and final matches
will be played as best of five games. The scoring system will be the same. (21 points each)
The decision of the referee on all technical aspects will be final.
The organizing committee reserves the right to the change the programme of fixture as and
when it deems fit.
Postponement of match under no circumstances will be granted.
The organizers can change above mentioned rules without prior notice.
During MYF-2017 we are planning to organize Business quiz so as to encourage students to achieve
academic excellence and increase their awareness of the Business world.
Rules & Instructions:
Reporting time for the event is 9:30 am.
A team shall consist of 3-4 members.
Each right answer will be given 10 marks and each wrong answer will be given - 5 (negative
Five). Question left unanswered carries no Marks.
Time limit is 1 min per question.
Passing of question to the next team is not allowed, but question may be passed to Audience
subject to choice of Quiz Master.
Quiz will consist of following five rounds.
I. Written Test
II. Business world (Current affairs and general knowledge)
III. Logo Identification and Tag lines
IV. Products and Brands Identification (BUZZER Round)
V. Rapid Fire
In case of a tie, a tie breaker question will be asked, but its marks will not be added in Total
marks.
In each round some teams (subject to No. of entries) will be eliminated on the basis of lowest
marks scored
For Final Round best three teams will be selected.
Team work and discipline is to be maintained, otherwise team may be out rightly eliminated.
Use of mobile phone or other electronic device is not allowed. If anyone is found using such
means, his or her team will be out rightly declared disqualified.

“Theatre is a mirror, a sharp reflection of society.” Young minds are the creators of a strong society. We at
MYF give you this opportunity to present and vocalize your ideas on social issues that need to be either
eradicated or dealt up with a solution.
Rules & Instructions:
Reporting time for the event is 10:00 am.
The street play should be theme-based depicting social issue/issues.
Maximum two teams can participate from one Institution/College.
A ‘Tag Number’ will be allotted to ‘Team Leader’ of each team, which is required to be
carried throughout the event.
The time limit allowed to each team is 7-10 minutes.
Each group can have 08-10 members.
Costumes and Props are permissible and to be managed by the participating teams.
No indecent, obscene and explicit language will be entertained. Inclusion of any of the above
in the act would lead to disqualification.
Religious sentiments should not be offended.
The contestants are strictly advised not to disclose the name of their College/Institution to the
Jury members/audience while introducing themselves on the stage.
The decision of Judges will be final and binding.
In case participants exceed the time limit Judges shall be free to disqualify the team.
“Win or lose the participant will able to gain experience.”
From this the participant will be able to taste sweet victory if he/she pulls through but if he/she loses
they will able to pinpoint the things that he/she is still lacking in and this will encourage them to try
harder the next time they will compete again.
Rules & Instructions:
Reporting time for the event is 11:00 am.
The quiz will consist of 50 (reasoning) questions based on MCQ pattern.
Each right answer carries 1 mark and there will be a negative marking (1 mark) for each
wrong answer. Question unanswered carries no Marks.
The time limit for the quiz will be 60 minutes.
Use of mobile phone or other electronic device is strictly prohibited.
Discipline is to be maintained, otherwise participants may be out rightly eliminated.
Before attempting the paper please check whether the questions are properly printed or not.

Debate will be in English language only.
Reporting time for the event is 8:30 am.
Team will consist of two members (One to speak “FOR” and one to speak “AGAINST” the
topic).
The event will consist of following two rounds:
Round 1: Presentation of Cases/ Viewpoint
Round 2: Cross-Questioning
Un-parliamentary language should not be used.
No personal comments should be made against – any religion, caste, community, political
party or individual.
Decision made by the judges will be final and binding on all participants.
Every fact and figure presentenced during the debate should be backed up and verifiable by
trusted sources.

Participants are required get himself/herself registered for the competition.
Each Participant must carry of his/her own face painting material.
Participants may not share paints or other material during competition.
Models will be the responsibility of the participant.
Participants are not supposed to use photos or drawings to refer while painting.
All designs will be painted free-hand.
Competitors MAY USE any or all of the following items:
Metallic, neon, and interference paints. Products may be applied wet or dry.
Skin-safe adhesives & adhesive removers
Paint brushes, makeup brushes, sponges, sponge-tipped applicators, a stylus (a tool that
makes “dots”). The end of a paint brush may also be used to make dots.
Glitter in loose, gel, or liquid form (glitter must be polyester glitter only)
Gemstones (stones may have adhesive backing or be applied with skin-safe adhesive)
Loose and Pressed Powders, including Shimmer Powders
Feathers (to be used on the face only, not in the hair)
Competitors MAY NOT use:
Acrylic paints and other commercial paints including tempera paint, craft paint,
textile paint, airbrush paint (such as Createx brand and other brands), etc.
An airbrush system
Stencils or stamps of any kind
Masks over any part of the face Prosthetic pieces that are glued or taped to the face
(i.e. fake cuts, scars, warts, noses, etc.)
False eyelashes, special effects contact lenses, novelty eyeglasses or sunglasses.
Regular Prescription eyeglasses or contact lenses will be allowed on the models and the
artists.

RANGREZ – FACE PAINTING COMPETITION

mesmerize the audience with your indispensible magic. Be a part of sur-taal and captivate the
audience.
Rules & Instructions:
Reporting time for the event is 9:00 am.
This will be a solo performance competition.
Two entries can come from each Institution/College.
A ‘Tag Number’ will be allotted to each participant, which is required to be carried
throughout the event.
The time limit for each performance is 2-3 minutes.
The participants are free to choose the genre of their choice, but no indecent song will be
entertained and may lead to disqualification.
Participants can carry their musical instruments, but a mention is to be made to the organizers
before the event.
The contestants are strictly advised not to disclose the name of their College/Institution to the
Jury members/audience while introducing themselves on the stage.
The decision of Judges will be final and binding.
In case participants exceed the time limit Judges shall be free to disqualify the team.
Rules & Instructions: Round: I
In this round all the participants have to take a 30 minutes pen paper test consisting of 30 objective
questions relating to financial markets, financial literacy & trading skills.
Round: 2
Participants clearing the elimination round will be selected for this round
Participants will be given virtual cash of Rs. 15 lakhs.
News related to international stock market, quarterly results, Govt. policies etc will be flashed
on the screen.
Participants will have to make decisions regarding purchase/ sale of the scripts based on
flashed news.
Participants are required to bring their own calculator for computation.
There would be four rounds following the same process.
Unsold units of scripts will automatically square off in last round.

Rules & Instructions:
Participants will have to produce a Product Name and Punch Line for a product in a proper
way which is quite appealing to audience.
Number of Participants in a team: 2-5 members
Time allowed to present your prepared ad will be 4 minutes.
The ad prepared by the participants must not contain any obscene words/any subject that
hurts the feelings of a culture/language/religion/region.
Judging is done on the basis of team’s originality, humor and stage presence and usage of
props.
15 Minutes will be given to prepare Product Name, punch- line and AD for Final Round.
Round I - will be elimination round.
Participants will have to present; Product Name, Punch Line and AD for their product
Number of Participants in a team: 2-5 members
Time allowed to present your prepared ad will be 4 minutes.
The ad prepared by the participants must not contain any abusive words/any subject that hurts
the feelings of a culture/language/religion/region.
Round II:
Selected teams will be given 15 Minutes to prepare Product Name, Punch- line and AD for
Final Round.
Time allowed to present your prepared ad will be 4 minutes.
Note: Judgment is based on team’s originality, humor, stage presence and usage of props.
“Dancing is like dreaming with your feet. You create what you dream.” ‘MYF-2017’, brings the
dancing extravaganza for you, perform and showcase your own dream!!!
Rules & Instructions:
Reporting time for the event is 9.30 am.
This competition is open for GROUP participation only.
Maximum two teams can participate from one Institution/College.
A ‘Tag Number’ will be allotted to ‘Team Leader’ of each team, which is required to be
carried throughout the event.
Each group can have 04- 08 members.
The duration of the dance should be between 3-4 minutes.
The dancers can choose any one particular dance form or combinations of 2 to maximum 3
different dance forms.
All participants need to submit their music in Pen Drive and CD to the organizers on/before
13th December’2017 in edited form.
Props are optional and teams are free to carry their own props but use of fire and any other
material leading to fumes is strictly prohibited.
No indecent, obscene and explicit dresses, movements or songs will be entertained. Inclusion
of any of the above in the performance would lead to disqualification.
The dance MUST clearly include appropriate costumes and make-up to be arranged by the
respective performers.
The contestants are strictly advised not to disclose the name of their college/Institution to the
Jury members/audience while introducing themselves on the stage
In case participants exceed the time limit Judges shall be free to disqualify the team.
The judgment of the judges will be final and binding.
