21 Issue Screen
21.1 Roll Split Lay-wise
- You can split the rolls according to Lays in which they are allocated. When you will
click on Split, a pop-up will open. This pop-up window will suggest roll split
according to Roll Allocation.
intelloCut 1.5.6|10
- For example- A roll R1 of 100m is used in 3 different lays – L1, L2 and L3. 50m of this
roll is allocated to L-1, 20m to L-2 and 20m to L-3 and the remaining 10m remains
unallocated for now. When you click on Split for R-1, pop-up window will suggest
to split this roll in 4 parts. 3 split rolls will be 50m (R1-1S), 20m (R1-2S) and 20m (R13S)
for the respective lays and the parent roll R1 will be 10m.
- In above case, let’s say, the Layslip L-2 is at Layslip Printed status and two lays L1
and L3 are at Roll Allocated status. While Roll Split, the pop-up will suggest to split
for Lay 1 and Lay 3 - 50m (L1) and 20m (L-3). The parent roll will be 30m. The already
printed layslip roll does now allow roll split for any roll used in that lay.
- You will have the option to either select all the Split Rolls (as suggested in the
popup) or you can select whichever roll you want to select.
Access: Fabric Module: Issue Screen: Split
URL: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9EhjMHxHgso&feature=youtu.be
21.2 Undo Roll Split
- Now you have the option to Undo Roll Split until and unless the roll is not used in
the system. If the roll is used in any Lay or it has been General Issued, Undo feature
will be automatically disabled for this roll.
- For example: You have a roll R1 of 100m and you have split it in 40m and 60m. Due
to some unavoidable circumstances, the plan was refreshed. In the new plan, you
require 80m from R1. In this case, you can easily undo the roll split and issue it
accordingly.
Access: Fabric Module: Issue Screen: Undo Split
URL: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9EhjMHxHgso&feature=youtu.be
22 Roll Allocation Solution Screen
22.1 Layslip – Roll Tracking
- A new section has been added in the layslip which will show the previous and next
lay in which the roll is used. In case the roll is not used in any previous or next lay,
this section will be empty.
- This will assist you in planning the supply of rolls and managing the cutting floor
more efficiently.
intelloCut 1.5.6|11
- For example, a Roll R1 is used in 3 lays – L1, L2 and L3. If we open layslip for L-1, the
Previous section will be blank and Next will show L-2 against roll R1. Similarly in
Layslip of L-2, the Previous section will show L-1 and Next will show L-3 against roll
R1.

23 Fabric Grouping Screen
23.1 Editable Fabric Group Name

changed Group Name will be reflected in every screen and report.
- Once you save the Grouping from Fabric Grouping Screen, an edit button will
appear. On clicking this Edit Button, a new Column – Factory Group Name will
appear on the Screen. You can fill in the group name here.
intelloCut 1.5.6|12
- For Example: The default Group Name is G1. You can add the suffix to G-1. Let’s
say you wish to rename this to Pattern1. In this case, the new group name is ‘G-
1Pattern1’.
Access: Roll Allocation Module: Fabric grouping screen: Factory Group Name

23.2 Available Length in Fabric Grouping

Damage now. This will reduce the effort of manually calculating the actual available
length.
Access: Roll Allocation Module: Fabric grouping screen
24 CAD Screen
24.1 Zero Ply marker
- A new check box has been added to Created Marker Screen called ‘Show zero
ply marker’. On ticking this, those markers will be shown that do not have any plies
associated. By default, the checkbox will be ticked. In case you want to hide all
the markers with zero plies, simply untick this checkbox!

1 Quick Plan Screen
1.1 Stepdown Cutplan
- Stepdown is a progressive cutplan that works on fuzzy-logic. This gives you an
advanced and customized cutplan solution best suited to a specific product and/ or
factory environment.
- Stepdown initially makes the longest markers and reduces number of pieces in the
marker subsequently to optimize the entire cutplan. It gives you a solution which has a
perfect balance between the planned plies and pieces in the marker. The logic works
in such a way that as the number of plies goes below permissible number of pieces in
that marker, the solution steps down and reduces the number of pieces.
- The objective of step down cutplan is to find the optimum cost effective cutplan. It not
only looks at fabric cost but also at labour cost in cutting, spreading, bundling etc. and
gives you an advanced solution for cost and speed optimization.
intelloCut 1.5.6|59
- Stepdown Cutplan is available for all types of styles and orders, including multi-part
styles and multi-colour orders.
Access:
1. Quick Plan Module – Quick Plan Screen
2. Cutplan Module – Run Cutplan Screen
Features:
1.2 Minimum Pcs. in Marker:
- This provides an option to select the minimum number of pieces in a marker for a
particular order.
- For example, if you have a lingerie order with 30 sizes and you do not want to put any
Lay less than a 5 way marker, you may select 5 as the min pc. The cutplan solution will
offer all markers more than or equal to 5ways, till the unplanned pcs are above 5.
1.3 Extra Pcs. to Cut Over Target Quantity per Size:
- This gives cutplan the elasticity to plan a few pcs more than the target quantity, if only
that helps in improving the overall solution.
- For example, if you are allowed to cut 1 pc more in each size for a particular buyer,
you may select extra pcs to cut as 1. The cutplan solution will consider this only to
improve the solution (i.e. reduced markers and/ or plies) and can plan 1 pc extra in
some (or all) sizes.
1.4 Even Pcs. in Marker:
- This gives you the flexibility to plan pair markers, particularly useful in face-to face
laying.
- For example, if you have trousers order and you want only pair markers, you may select
this option. The cutplan solution will offer all markers with even number (i.e. 2, 4, 6, 8,
10, 12…) of pcs in them.

2 Lay Plan Screen
2.1 Manual Lay Sequence
- This allows you to change the sequence of planned lays so as to adapt any fluctuations
in your laying and cutting plan.
- It gives you a customized, user-defined lay sequence that depends on the availability
of markers and no. of plies in a lay to cater to on-floor process flow, thereby reducing
the overall effort and time.
- For example, if you have 3 lays (L1, L2, L3) associated with 3 different markers (M1, M2,
M3) and M1 is not ready while M2 and M3 are ready. To eliminate the waiting time on
floor, you can change the lay sequence and make L2 as Lay1, L3 as Lay 2 and L1 as
Lay 3.
- It is available for all types of styles and orders including multi-colour and multi-part
order.

3 Expected Remnants Screen
3.1 Automated Remnant Planning
- This allows you to automatically plan remnants by a single click of ‘Get Suggestions’
and thus completely eliminating any individual dependency in planning and reducing
overall planning time up to 70%.
- The logic in automated remnant plan works very much like intelloCut’s original cutplan
and thus, it always suggests the best possible solution based on the current status of
end-bits and unplanned pieces.
- Automated Remnant Planning is equally competent in orders with fabric groups.
Access:
- Planning Module : Expected Remnant Screen
Features:
3.2 Minimum Pcs. in Marker:
- This gives you the flexibility to select the minimum number of pieces in a marker for a
particular order.
- For example, if you have a lingerie order with 30 sizes and you do not want to put any
Lay less than a 5-way marker, you may select 5 as the min pc. The cutplan solution will
offer all markers more than or equal to 5 ways, till the unplanned pcs are above 5.
3.3 Extra Pcs. to Cut Over Target Quantity per Size:
- This gives cutplan the elasticity to plan a few pcs more than the target quantity, if only
that helps in improving the overall solution.
- For example, if you are allowed to cut 1 pc more in each size for a particular buyer,
you may select extra pcs to cut as 1. The cutplan solution will consider this only to
improve the solution (i.e. reduced markers and/ or plies) and can plan 1 pc extra in
some (or all) sizes.
3.4 Half Manual Half Automated:
- This allows you to plan remnants with a combination of system suggested and manually
planned markers, if required.
intelloCut 1.5.6|63
- For example, in your remnant plan, you can have first marker as system generated by
clicking ‘Get Suggestion ‘and then manually plan for the remaining quantity. Manual
planning is allowed at any stage of remnants.

4 Reserve and Unreserve Screen
4.1 Split Roll
- This allows you to split or break your main roll into smaller sub-rolls so that you are able
to reserve and issue the exact amount fabric required, thereby keeping the accurate
track of fabric reserved and issued at all stage.
- For example- if you have a roll of 100m and you need only 40m for a particular order,
the system will allow you to split the roll into two - of 40m and 60m, and then issue only
40m for that order.
-This empowers fabric store to optimize fabric flow by eliminating unnecessary fabric
roll return.

- This improves and simplifies roll to roll tracking, by assigning a status to each roll like
Reserved and Allocated/ Reserved and Unallocated/ or Issued.
- This also provides details of association of individual rolls to different lays.
Access:
- Fabric Module: Issue Screen
5.2 Issue Lay-wise
- This option allows you to issue rolls as per the requirement of each lay. This is available
by a dropdown where you can select the lays for which you want to issue the rolls.
- For example, if you have three lays- L1, L2, L3&five rolls- R1, R2, R3, R4, R5where L1 has
R1,R2, R3; L2 has R4 and L3 has R5. The fabric store can clearly see this association and
thus for Lay 1, it will issue only R1, R2 and R3.

10.
intelloCut 1.5.6|74
13.3 Number Sequence:
- This gives you the flexibility to create a continuous number sequence for all pieces in
the entire order or create it lay-wise.
- Continuous – Select this option if you want a continuous sequence for all pieces in the
order irrespective of number of lays. For example, if your order quantity is 100 pcs and
you want numbering in a sequence of 1 to 100, select this option.
- Lay-wise – Select this option if you want a numbering sequence as per the Lays i.e. for
every new lay the number sequence should begin with 1. For example, if you have 50
pcs in Lay 1 and 60 pcs in Lay 2, with this option- number sequence for both lays will
begin with 1 and end with 50 and 60 respectively.
13.4 Bundle Sequence:
- This gives you the flexibility to create a continuous sequence for all bundles in the entire
order or create it lay-wise.
- Continuous – Select this option if you want a continuous sequence for all bundles in
the order irrespective of number of lays. For example, if your order has total 20 bundles
within several lays and you want bundling in a sequence of 1 to 20, select this option.
- Lay-wise – Select this option if you want a bundle sequence as per the Lays i.e. for
every new lay the bundle sequence should begin with 1. For example, if you have 10
bundles in Lay 1 and 15 bundles in Lays 2, with this option- bundle sequence for both
lays will begin with 1 and end with 10 and 15 respectively.
13.5 Number Color wise:
- This allows you to create a separate number sequence for different colours in the order.
- For example, if you have 100 pcs in Color1 and 150 pcs in Color2, with this option-

- This allows you to create a separate bundle sequence for different colours in the order.
- For example, if you have 10 bundles in Color1 and 15 bundles in Color2, with this option-
bundle sequence of both colours will begin with 1 and end with 10 and 15 respectively.
If you do not want bundle sequence as per the different colours in the order, keep this
option un-checked.
13.7 Bundle Break:
- This gives you the flexibility to break the bundles in a lay as different ways or combine
all same-size bundles.
- Continuous – Select this option if you want to combine the bundles that are in the same
size irrespective of the marker construction. For example, if you have a Lay of 2-M with
15 plies and you want to follow a continuous bundling, select this option. In this case,
if the bundle size is 10, you will have 3 bundles - 10 pcs + 10 pcs + 10 pcs (i.e. 2-M
combined)
- Lay-wise – Select this option if you want to break the bundles as per the marker
construction. For example, if you have a Lay of 2-M with 15 plies and you want to break
bundles way-wise, select this option. In this case, if the bundle size is 10, you will have 4
bundles of 10 pcs + 5 pcs (for 1-M) and 10 pcs + 5 pcs (1-M).
13.8 Bundle Split:
- This gives you the flexibility to select splitting of bundles based on the process flow of
the factory floor. This will be followed only when the numbers of pieces are not in the
multiple of bundle size.
- Maximum – Select this option if you want the system to split bundles according to the
