‘intelligence’ text: some critical questions
If we accept that IQ tests are flawed, how does this weaken the argument for general intelligence?
Why are some questions left unasked, e.g. Why are IQ tests still widely used, for example in the USA?
If ‘g’ does not exist, why do people talk about it?
Why are all the in-text references over 100 years old?
Why are no references given for more recent claims, e.g. ‘Tests have been shown to be…’ – by whom?
Why is the claim in the last sentence not evaluated?
