The ProcessThe Process

• Brief Profile Proposal suggests work that is worthwhile; it is evaluated by the Planning Committee (PC)

• Detailed Profile Proposal provides more detail to be evaluated by the PC

• Technical Committee (TC) accepts the work and develops a Supplement

• Supplements go out for Public Comment

• Comments are resolved, the Supplement is balloted for release as a Trial Implementation version

• Companies may elect to test at a Connectathon (and with preceding steps)

• Companies that pass the Connectathon may elect to demonstrate at a HIMSS or other IHE Showcase
