What is an IWT• The concept of the Integrated Warning Team originated as

part of the “Weather and Society Integrated Studies” (WAS*IS)

• The IWT Workshop brings the major partners together to identify common problems and work on mutually beneficial solutions.

• An IWT Workshop can be used to better understand how the public we serve responds to our services.

– Many are Statewide initiatives– Many are multi-day events– Many tackle a variety of topics
