Operating in the 3.5 GHz band, Citizens

Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) is a

unifying spectrum for mid-band 5G wireless

in the United States. As mobile operators

deploy new 5G networks using the CBRS

standard, they need a single solution to

evaluate network performance, identify

disruptive RF interference, analyze

propagation characteristics, and ensure

spectrum availability.

The combined ThinkRFTM and CelPlan

solution for CBRS provides RF engineers

with a fully integrated wireless network

testing system. Users gain all of the

analysis, scanning, and storage capabilities

they need for CBRS deployments in a

single, cost-effective, and versatile system.

Leveraging high-performance ThinkRF

Real-Time Spectrum Analyzers and leading

software from CelPlan, the solution offers

unprecedented visualization capabilities,

multiband analysis across technology

standards, and real-time or post-processed

analysis of the CBRS band as well as the

surrounding spectrum for accurate

performance prediction.

Versatile ThinkRF Real-Time Spectrum Analyzers

Unlike other solutions which require additional equipment or purchases

to capture multiple bands or technologies, ThinkRF Real-Time

Spectrum Analyzers allow users to switch between standards and

measure surrounding spectrum in real-time or for post-processing,

lowering total cost of ownership.

Features and Capabilities

Fully Integrated with Leading CelPlan Software

CelPlan software captures and stores multiband IQ spectrum and

provides unprecedented detail, resolution, and visualization

capabilities. A modular approach means users gain access to all the

tools and measurement capabilities required when testing and

deploying CBRS networks, including fading and MIMO analysis.

High Measurement Rates

Capturing more than 25 measurements per second, ThinkRF

analyzers enable RF Engineers to evaluate network performance and

take action to improve coverage and reduce interference.

Wide Dynamic Range and Saturation Avoidance

RF measurement drive tests are subject to both strong and weak

signal levels. Gain control and pre-select filtering allows users to work

with an effective dynamic range better than 100 dB.

Portable and Easy to Deploy in a Vehicle

ThinkRF analyzers are lightweight, portable, and easily deployed in a

vehicle for mobile and drive testing applications.
