Overview
The HMC8114 is a 90 W gallium nitride (GaN), monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC), conduction cooled power amplifier (PA) module that operates between 5.8 GHz and 18 GHz, provided in an environmentally sealed chassis. The amplifier typically provides 68 dB of small signal gain and 49.5 dBm of saturated RF out-put power. The amplifier draws 1 kW of power from a 48 V dc supply. The RF input/outputs are dc blocked and matched to 50 Ω for ease of use.

Overview
The HMC7748 is a multistage power amplifier (PA) that provides 25 W of saturated output power across the band of 2 GHz to 6 GHz. It draws 0.7 A from a 12 V supply and up to 4 A from a 28 V supply. Input signals of as much as −8 dBm are acceptable, and the HMC7748 has a small signal gain of 60 dB. The 12 V supply is regulated internally and gener-ates the negative voltage required for the gate bias. Built-in bias sequencing prevents the drain voltages for the amplifier stages from being applied without the negative voltage present, which protects the amplifiers if 28 V is applied without 12 V supply applied. An external enable pin causes the HMC7748 to remain in shutdown mode unless the pin is pulled to ground. This pin provides a means of turning the amplifiers off and on without cycling the power supplies.

The HMC7885 is a 32 W gallium nitride (GaN), monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) power amplifier (PA) that operates be-tween 2 GHz and 6 GHz, and is provided in an 18-lead hermetically sealed unit. The amplifier typically provides 21 dB of small signal gain and 45 dBm of saturated radio frequency (RF) output power. The amplifier draws 2200 mA of quiescent current (IDD) from a 28 V dc supply. The RF input and output are dc blocked and matched to 50 Ω for ease of use.

Overview
The HMC7891 is a limiting amplifier that operates over the band of 2 GHz to 18 GHz, with a high gain of 47 dB. The amplifier provides a saturated output power of 13 dBm over the input power range of −30 dBm to 10 dBm, for a limiting dynamic range of 40 dB. An integrated voltage regulator provides the proper bias voltage, drawing 300 mA from a single dc power supply of 8 V ± 1 V. The HMC7891 is packaged in a compact modular design with field replace-able SMA connectors.

Overview
The HMC-C582 is a gallium arsenide (GaAs), monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC), pseudomorphic high electron mobility transfer (pHEMT) power amplifier in a miniature, hermetic package with replaceable SMA connectors that operates between 0.01 GHz and 20 GHz. The amplifier provides typically 24 dB of gain, up to 36 dBm output IP3, and up to 26 dBm of output power at 1 dB gain compression. Gain flatness is excellent from 0.01 GHz to 20 GHz, making the HMC-C582 ideal for electronic warfare (EW), electronic countermeasures (ECM), radar, fiber optic, and test equipment applications. The wideband amplifier inputs/outputs (I/Os) are internally matched to 50 Ω and are dc blocked. Integrated voltage regulators allow flexible biasing and sequencing control for robust operation.

Overview
The HMC-C583 is a 0.1 GHz to 40 GHz, gallium arsenide (GaAs), pseudomorphic high electron mobility transfer (pHEMT), IC single-pole, single-throw (SPST) switch housed in a miniature hermetic package. This wideband switch features 7 dB typical insertion loss, 50 dB typical isolation, and 40 dBm input IP3. The switching on/off time is 10 ns typical. A single control voltage input, toggled between 0 V and 5 V, selects the switch state. Removable K-type connectors can be detached to allow direct connection of the input/output pins to a microstrip or coplanar circuit.

Overview
The HMC-C584 is a 0.1 GHz to 40 GHz, 5-bit, gal-lium arsenide (GaAs) IC digital attenuator housed in a miniature hermetic package. This wideband attenuator features 7 dB typical insertion loss, 43 dBm input IP3, and bit values of 1 dB (LSB), 2 dB, 4 dB, 8 dB, and 16 dB for a total attenua-tion range of 31 dB. The attenuation accuracy of the device has a ±1.0 dB typical step error. Five control voltage inputs, toggled between 0 V and 5 V, are used to select each attenuation state. Removable K-type connectors can be detached to allow direct connection of the input/output pins to a microstrip or coplanar circuit.

Overview
The HMC-C070 MicroSynth and HMC-C083 MicroSynth are fully integrated broadband synthesizer solutions that combine high performance SiGe, GaAs, pHEMT, and InGaP HBT technologies into one compact hermetic package. The output frequency range is 5.5 GHz to 10.5 GHz for the HMC-C070 with an average 21 dBm output power, and 2 GHz to 6 GHz for the HMC-C083 with an average output power of 17 dBm; enough pow-er to drive two mixers. In fractional-N mode, the HMC-C070 can realize step sizes as low as 1.2 Hz while the HMC-C083 can realize step sizes as low as 0.6 Hz. The HMC-C070 and HMC-C083 also feature fully integrated low noise regulators and an output buffer amplifier that results in superior pushing and pulling performance. These synthesizers have been designed to withstand harsh environments and can be upscreened to higher military standards upon request.
