(Reference OS: Mac OSX 10.9.2)

1. Download Installer files from following URL: http://clearpass.smu.edu.sg/agent/installer/mac/ClearPassOnGuardInstall.dmg

or http://smu.sg/nacmac

2. Launch downloaded installer file and follow the steps shown below:-

3. Click ‘Continue’ at the welcome screen:-

4. Click ‘Agree’ and ‘Continue’ at Software License Agreement window:-

5. If prompted for ‘Password’, key in the computer log in password and click ‘Install Software’:-

6. Once installation was successful, click ‘Close’ to exit:-

7. After ClearPass OnGuard has installed, it will run a system check. A green check mark indicates the system has successfully passed the scan. A red X indicates that the system has not passed and will display the reason.

8. If Health Status indicates as Not Healthy, please contact IT Help Centre at 68280123 or helpdesk@smu.edu.sg for assistance.

9. Click ‘Retry’ to manually scan the security posture. In case there is a need for troubleshooting, click ‘Send logs’ to send the logs to IITS.

10. ClearPass OnGuard will continue to run in the background of your system while you are connected. Each time you reconnect it will run the system security check and you should be automatically connected after it has finished processing.
