Purpose of Music Ministry
The purpose of our music ministry is to sup-port the corporate worship of the congrega-tion, to encourage and provide opportunities in ministry to those who possess musical and creative abilities, and to serve as a vehicle of outreach to the community.
An Invitation to Ministry
The music ministry program is a vital part of our worship, fellowship, and outreach. If you are interested in participating in our choirs or praise team, in volunteering to provide spe-cial music, or would like to add your name to our organ and piano substitute list, please contact Jeff Clouser, Music Director, at 717-838-6369 or email [email protected].
Praise Team
An intergenerational group of instrumentalists and vocalists supporting our Sunday morning worship. The rehearse on Thursdays, 6:15 - 7:00 p.m., in the sanctuary.
Chancel Choir
An intergenerational choral group supporting our Sunday morning worship, singing twice a month and special seasonal services. They re-hearse on Thursdays, 7:15 - 8:15 p.m., in the choir room.
Canticle Bells
This bell choir plays once a
month at worship and other
special events. The rehearse
on Wednesday, 7:15 - 8:15
p.m., in the sanctuary.
Music Ministry Objectives The objectives of our music ministry include the development of skills in the creative arts, solo vocal and instrumental musical offerings, choral and bell ringing technique, and wor-ship leadership, as well as, the promotion of growth in personal discipleship and spiritual commitment toward the ministry of Christ.
