Instructions for Viewing TVCC past Semester Class Evaluations

There are two ways to view class evaluations. Students may view evaluations of past semester classes via the TVCC Website. The information presented is the average score (1-5) for each of the evaluation questions. Instructors can also access class evaluation data that includes student comments via the Cardinal Connection portal. Both procedures are covered in the following paragraphs.

Student View of Past Semester Class Evaluations

Students may view instructor evaluation averages for past semesters by using the Schedule of Classes link in the Students dropdown menu on the TVCC homepage:

The following page will open and the student will click on the TVCC Class Ratings link:

After clicking on the link, a new window will open that allows selection of the year, semester, and campus where a course was offered (see the graphic on the following page)

Select the desired Year, Semester and Campus. Then click on the search button. A window will open with a list of all classes for the selected semester. There are 3 links associated with each class. They allow access to the Instructor’s Vitae (via the link with the instructor’s name), the syllabus for the class, and the class rating resulting from student evaluation of faculty. The three links are highlighted on the following page.
