Accessing NFPA Standards referenced in Proposed 6 NYCRR Part 570  The proposed regulation for Liquefied Natural Gas (6 NYCRR Part 570) incorporates by reference two standards from the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). These standards are available for reviewing on the NFPA website. Free public access is available for all NFPA standards by following the directions below. • Click on View the full list of NFPA's codes and standards.

• Scroll down and select (click on) the standard you wish to view. NFPA 52 and 59A are referenced in Proposed 6 NYCRR Part 570, Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) regulations.

• Click on “View the 2013 Document Online ”

• This will take you to a screen where you will click on “Create an Account”.

• This will take you to a screen to register (create a username and a password). When you click on

continue you will be taken to the screen to create your profile. Complete the form for every “*” item. For job function and industry you can select “other”.

• After you register, NFPA will send an email to the email address you provided so you can validate your account.

• After you respond/validate your account, you will be granted access to the standard.

• Using the same account information, you can access any of the NFPA standards.
