Using a phillips head screw drive unscrew the factory bolt.

Pull the back the plastic bed rail 1” and then pull up gently to removed from vehicle.

Use a flat head screw driver and pop open the 2nd ridge from the rear.

Use a 7/16” drill bit on the rear holes on the passenger and driver side bed rails.

For additional strength you may use the optional anchor kit. Instructions are as follows.

Collapsing Anchor may become difficult.

keep Anchor tool stationary and tighen Hex bolt.

before screwing in the bolt apply a layer of silicon over anchor to prevent leaking.

Slide the cage nuts into the following locations. Repeat on passenger side.

To decrease the risk of losing a cage nut, screw in any 5/16” bolt for easier handling.

Remove the bolt when cage nut is fitted in bed rail.

Position upright mount into their respective position and secure by tightening the Plastic knob.

Firmly secure allen bolts hardware.

-After adjusting the cross bar and uprights to align correctly and centered Tightly secure all hardware.

-Due to truck bed’s tapering towards the tail light, it is not possible to adjust without loosening connections between cross bars & uprights.
