- Although being among the top ten reformers for the previous
three years; Egypt still ranked low in terms of ease of doing
business.
12. Best performance is for starting business, and trading
across boarders. 13. Worst performance is for dealing with
construction permits 14. Egypt superior ranking for starting
business is then affected by a lot of problematic areas that lead
to a lagged ranking for the overall ease of doing business 15.

- Egypt economic freedom score is 59.0, making its economy the
94th worldwide, and the 11th out of 17 countries in the Middle
East/North Africa.
