1.Organizational and Delivery Capacity
EcomResearch Group was established by a consortium of renowned and multi-
disciplinary expert with the aim of providing multidisciplinary quality research and
professional consultancy services to public, private and other institutions towards the
attainment of socio-economic development objectives in Tanzania, East Africa, the
African Continent and beyond.
EcomReserch Group has eleven core senior members; six with PhD and long experience
in research and consultancy services; and four with Master’s degree in varied fields and
experience. In addition, the Group has a network of associate senior researchers and
professional consultants that gives EcomResearch Group an advantage in
multidisciplinary approach in its research and consultancy undertakings.
The Group works under the Director of Administration and Operations; and each
research or consultancy project is assigned a team leader and members according to
areas of expertise and experience. Every report/paper prepared by EcomResearch
Group must undergo internal quality verdict before it is ready for dissemination or
submission.

2. Location
The establishment of the EcomResearch Group, with full-fledged modern research and consultancy infrastructure, housed in 1st and
2nd Floor of RHECO House in the suburb of Ubungo - Plaza and adjacent to RUBADA House - slightly off Morogoro, provides the
group excellent silent environment for working and innovative thinking.
EcomResearch Group is a fully registered limited company under the company’s act of 2002, with registration No. 70417 and
business license No. 01170590. It is also registered with TRA with Taxpayer identification No.108-509-562 and VAT Registration
No. 40-006162-Y.
3. Functions
The functions of EcomResearch Group are three fold; Research, Consultancy and Training Services. The cross cutting theme for the
Group is economic management, socio-economic surveys, evaluation studies, growth and poverty reduction, service delivery
capacities of the public and private sector institutions, etc. EcomResearch Group works to provide professional advice on economic
and business-related issues, services provision and delivery capacity including short, medium and long term scientific investigation
of research problems.
