Dr Jayanthi Ranjan, internationally acknowledged accomplished management and information systems education leader with nearly quarter century of academic experience with equal exposure and track record of corporate training, consulting and leadership development with a strong professional acumen in leading and completing any assigned task. A self-driven person with a very high level of motivation to manage high caliber teams with strong national and international network in industry and academia.
Current position held (Since 2006--): Associate Dean-International Relations of IMT Group that includes campuses at Ghaziabad, Nagpur, Hyderabad and Dubai. Responsible for academic mobility, research, student and faculty exchanges across the globe. Combining academic excellence and managerial competence, Dr Jayanthi successfully set-up several active dynamic workable international collaborations, successfully executed international placements and internships, re-designed short term immersion programs and co-created several types of partnership programs.
Dr Ranjan has been acknowledged as “Best Management Researcher and Professor” by AIMS INTERNATIONAL in the years 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.
IIM Bangalore in a study of international value added project builders in management education acknowledged Dr Jayanthi Ranjan as one of the “Top Ten Productive Faculty in Research Area”. She has published more than 110 international refereed research papers and 100 + international conference presentations.
During her tenure at Amrita University and Jaipuria Institute of Management-Noida (1993-2006), Dr Ranjan, as a true leader, designed and executed academic activities from inception in developing various MDP models, courses and engaged top notch faculty to deliver those programs. Dr Ranjan is also fully exposed to world of academic publishing being an editor, editorial board member, guest editor, referee and also as contributors to several leading

national and international journals in the area of information systems and management. She is an approved DBA supervisor from University of Newcastle Australia and guided more than 10 DBA students. In India, she has guided 10+ students. Having worked closely with the AACSB accreditation team in IMT Ghaziabad, Dr Ranjan is well versed with the global accreditation systems . She has rich experience in preparing the institute/university for international accreditation and ranking of various bodies such as EQUIS, AACSB and SAQS.
Dr Jayanthi Ranjan is looking to expand her horizons to develop high quality, dynamic and globally connected academic ecosystem responsive to the user group comprising of institutions, industry and the government worldwide by taking up responsible and challenging position of independent leadership, along with teaching subjects in the area of Information Systems.

Single handedly organized many conferences as Co-Chair and General-Chair of research conferences of ICDM2008, IIRB2008, ICDM2009, ICBIRD 2010 and FOBE 2011, FOBE 2012, FOBE 2018, GBSN 2012, AIMS International 2013, 2017. It led to many edited books and journals. She has organized innumerable conclaves and seminars.
Innovation in Course development as faculty: I am a design thinking evangelist and attended several Business model innovation programs. Introduced these courses at IMT. Introduced time to time “Business Intelligence and BIG Data Analytics” in IMT. Today the outlines are top ten ranked course outlines in India. Designed Critical and Analytical thinking course structure after receiving advanced training from MIT and Columbia Business School. Successfully developed block-buster courses like Business model innovation, Emergent Technologies and new opportunities in Business, digital transformation in designing strategic business models.
Other roles: Actively involved in AACSB related works, served as Area Chairperson, Program Chairperson for MBA full time programs (refer experience column), identifying International Internships, various Alumni Meets, Research Seminars, Admissions processes in various capacities.

Direction: My teaching and research career in the area of Computer Science and Business Systems has spanned over 26 years. I have been invited to deliver guest lectures and invited talks at various Engineering and Management Institute’s conferences, workshops, seminars and symposiums at Delhi and NCR-National Capital, Chennai, Cochin and outside India. I have travelled to countries to present my research and to participate in meetings and discussions related to international relations.
