Installation Steps: SLN416GY Series SLN440GY or SLN460GY Series

1. Verify Parts: Please make sure that you have received all the components. LED engine module, solar panel, battery pack, and component kits.

2. Assemble Battery Pack to Solar Panel using Kit-A components

3. Mount LED Engine Module on a pole (not provided) using Kit-B components, or a wall (SLN440 and SLN460 series only) using Kit-B and Kit-D components.

Fits 2.375” OD tenon (2-inch pipe) to 4.0” OD tenon (3.5-inch pipe)

Pole Mount: Fits 2.375” OD tenon (2-inch pipe) to 4.0” OD tenon (3.5-inch pipe)

Wall Mount: Mount kit-D (wall plate) to the wall with hardware (not provided). Hang LED engine module on wall plate and secure it using M6 screw.

4. Assemble Solar Panel to LED Engine Module using Kit-C components

5. Connect cables:

a. First, connect the solar panel’s gray line to the gray line of the LED engine module.

b. Second, connect the white line of the battery pack to the white of LED engine module.

6. Orient solar panel for optimal performance

Solar panels should always face true south if you are in the northern hemisphere. The tilt angle depends on your latitude and season. 1) To calculate optimum solar panel tilt when the latitude of the project site is known:

Compatible with all models SLS-RC: Remote control programmer; required to program and turn on the fixtures for the first time. Works with multiple luminaires.

Attention:

1) In order to avoid deep discharge of the battery during storage, please fully charge your battery every 4 months. 2) Please make sure that the light is installed in an area with sufficient sunlight. A strict minimum of 3.5 hours/day of sunshine

on average is recommended. 3) Operating Temperature -20°C/-4°F to +50°C/122°F. Charging is disabled below freezing and above 65°C (149°F) to protect

battery. 4) Select the right operating mode according to the local needs and sunlight conditions. 5) Avoid shadows as possible. 6) 15° tilt or more will help prevent accumulation of snow and dirt.
