If any rotten wood on the frame of the original window cannot be repaired or replaced, opening will not be suitable for insert window replacement.

Existing opening must be plumb, level and square. If not, adjustments must be made to window size when ordering.

Make sure a 3-1/4" wide pocket exists or can be created for insert window.

Record measurements on “Measurement Worksheet”.

Describe window locations clearly and record measurements to nearest 1/8" when recording measurements.

Measure each window even if they appear the same size.

Woodwright® and tilt-wash insert windows can only be joined in 1-way combinations as shown below.
