ANSYS15 

Step 1 

Press Install ANSYS Products. 

 

   

Step 2 

Read the license agreement, select “I agree” if you accept the terms, and press Next. 

 

   

Step 3 

Specify a destination for the installation and press Next. Depending on the OS, there may be additional selections necessary (read the options carefully). 

 

   

Step 4 

Select which packages wish to install, and press Next. For the simplest installation deselect the ANSYS Geometry Interfaces option. 

 

   

Step 5 

Press Next to continue. 

 

   

Step 6 

Select “1‐server”, and in the field “Hostname 1:” provide the URL to the KTH license server (available at the ProgDist page for ANSYS). Press OK to proceed. 

 

   

Step 7 

A last chance to review all the choices made before proceeding. If ready, press Next to commit. 

 

   

Step 8 

Wait for the installation to finish. In some cases this step may take a very long time. 

 

Beware 

During the installation you may be prompted to “Enter the installation directory:”. Simply switch to the next DVD, or mount the equivalent iso‐image. Press the OK button to resume the installation.  

   

Step 9 

Press Next to proceed. 

 

   

Step 11 

Press Next to proceed. 

 

   

Step 12 

Press Finish to end the ANSYS installation. 

 

   

Step 12 

Press Exit to close the ANSYS Installation Manager window.
