La pasión que sentimos en Living por el buen diseño ha dado lugar a Signature Surfaces. Paolo Lucidi (1974) Luca Pevere (1977).

Both graduated and professionaly trained in Milan, they started to develop their first projects together since 2003 and in 2006 founded their studio LucidiPevere. They are facing constant challenges using unusual technics and aesthetic means to develop new forms of products.

Some of the brands LucidivPevere work with are De Padova, Zanotta, Gebrüder Thonet Vienna, Agape, Ligne Roset, Foscarini, Kristalia, Living Divani, Normann Copenhagen, Very Wood, Emu, Casamania, DeCastelli, La Cividina, Teracr ea. Their products appeared in different museums and won major awards such as Designpreis Deutschland, Red Dot Design Award, Good Design Award, Compasso d’Oro Honourable mentions and many others. They took part in various exhibitions in Europe and in the U.S. and appeared in different publications.

Ambos se graduaron y se formaron profesionalmente en Milán, y comenzaron a desarrollar sus primeros proyectos juntos en 2003, hasta que en 2006 fundaron su estudio LucidiPevere. Asumen retos constantemente utilizando medios técnicos y estéticos poco habituales para desarrollar nuevas formas de productos.

Algunas de las marcas con las que trabaja LucidiPevere son De Padova, Zanotta, Gebrüder Thonet Vienna, Agape, Ligne Roset, Foscarini, Kristalia, Living Divani, Normann Copenhagen, Very Wood, Emu, Casamania, DeCastelli, La Cividina o Teracrea. Sus productos aparecieron en diversos museos y han recibido importantes galardones como Designpreis Deutschland, Red Dot Design Award, Good Design Award, Compasso d’Oro, menciones de honor y muchos otros. Han participado en varias exhibiciones en Europa y en los EE. UU. y han aparecido en diferentes publicaciones.

Cava es la nueva colección diseñada por el estudio italiano LucidiPevere, que nace de una mezcla de formatos y decorados incrustados, ambos en varios colores.

«Partiendo de una superficie de cemento en línea con la materialidad propia de la compañía española, hemos buscado el equilibrio justo entre funcionalidad y expresividad, trabajando con suaves superficies irregulares y reduciendo su porosidad para convertirlas a todos los efectos en un producto «easy to clean».

A diferencia de la mayoría de las colecciones del sector cerámico, Cava encuentra su fuerza en los patrones gráficos de las incisiones, en lugar de en la decoración de la superficie. La colección se compone de una amplia gama de tamaños que pueden estar, o no, grabadas con la tecnología water jet. De la combinación de superficies grabadas y lisas nacen infinitas posibilidades de composición. No es hasta que se completa la instalación con la junta de color escogida, cuando la colección cobra el sentido completo: fugas reales y grabados que se mezclan y confunden dando lugar a la decoración final». Cava is the new collection designed by the Italian studio LucidiPevere, it arises from a mix of formats, decorations engraved on the piece and a play with the color scheme.

«From a concrete surface which was in line with the own image of the Spanish firm, we have worked the right balance between functionality and expressivity, working with its slight irregular trend and taking particular attention to porosity for all purposes be a product easy to clean.

Unlike most collections of tile industry, Cava finds its strength in graphic patterns of incisions, instead of surface decoration. The collection is composed of a wide range of sizes that can or cannot be recorded with the water jet technology. Combining recorded and flat surfaces endless compositions are born. It is not until the installation of the chosen color joint is completed, that the collection takes sense: real leaks and mixed engravings are confused resulting in the final decoration».

El proyecto Cava Mosaico es la extensión natural del proyecto Cava, que tras ser enriquecido con azulejos de tamaño estándar, se completa también con pequeños formatos.

Consta básicamente de una matriz de composición única que utiliza una pieza triangular; esta pieza puede ser completa o cortada en ángulo con la misma tecnología de chorro de agua, ya utilizada anteriormente.Al usar estos dos elementos simples dentro de la misma matriz, obtienes patrones muy diferentes entre sí. Los que los espacios vacíos, una vez que se rellenan con la junta, dan lugar a la verdadera decoración de la superficie. Una vez más, como en la colección principal, las juntas se convierten en diseño, en un juego de inversión positivo / negativo.

The Cava Mosaico project is the natural extension of the Cava project, which, after being enriched with standard size tiles, is also completed with small formats.

It basically consists of a single composition matrix that uses a triangular piece; this piece can be complete or cut at an angle with the same technology of water jet, already used previously.By using these two simple elements within the same matrix, you get very different patterns from each other. The empty spaces, once they are filled with the joint, give rise to the true decoration of the surface. Once again, as in the main collection, the joints become design, in a positive / negative investment game.
