INSPIRE-U SUMMER CAMPLOOKING FOR AN INSPIRING WAY TO SPEND YOUR SUMMER 2020? REGISTER FOR THE HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER CAMP: INSPIRE-U!
19 - 24 OF JULY 2020
InspireU combines a unique summer camp at the campus of the University of Twente with a festival and thus provides you with a special experience: academic courses, music, sports, entertainment and inspirational speakers all in one place! Our summer camp is an English event for both international and Dutch high school students from the age of 15 – 18 years who are preparing for university.
ON CAMPUSDuring InspireU, you attend one of our three innovative courses, which are aimed at science, technology and development. The experiences and knowledge gathered during the courses will be combined in the final presentations on Friday.
COURSES• Battle of the Robots: You will learn how a robot ‘thinks’, how to
program a robot and how to perform tasks by a robot. We finish with a battle between your own programmed robots.
• Build your Business: You will learn how to start your own business, get an introduction to the concepts Lean Canvas and Lean Start-up. We finish the week by pitching your business to real investors.
• Why Waste Water: You will learn about the effects of climate change on society, economy, technical development, politics and nature. During the week you will have challenging assignments and debates.
PLANNING & COSTSThe Summer camp takes place from the 19 until the 24th of July 2020 on the campus of the University of Twente. The ticket fee includes a sleeping place, meals, education and fun activities. This complete package does not include personal expenses like travel costs (plane ticket, train ticket, etc.), visa and travel insurance. Check the terms and conditions on our website.
