Vocabu is a program that aims to make learning words fun and easy. Simply add a word to Vocabu and the program will do the rest. They are also able to connect language learners who want to learn together in a virtual classroom.

The New American Academy is a public school (with a side contract). They are a collaboration of NYC’s Department of Education, United Federation of Teachers, and Harvard Graduate School. Their approach is collaboration and innovation – by pairing sixty students and four teachers in every class.

Skill Share is a marketplace where anyone can learn anything, from anyone. Their mission is to flip the traditional notion of education on its head and revolutionize learning. They are tapping into ex-isting communities and ways to “build” the world’s largest university.

Medikidz was founded by a group of doctors who designed 5 larger-than-life superheroes from outer space – each a specialist of different parts of the body. They aim to use these characters to educate children through videos, a virtual world, and comic books.
