ABOUT THE SEMINAR
By the end of March 2017, the Government of India operationalized the provisions of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code 2016 (IBC) relating to corporate insolvency. Most institutions part of the new eco system became functional and filing of insolvency applications started. The enactment of the IBC has finally paved way for introduction of the much-needed modern framework to deal with insolvency of corporate entities. IBC introduces significant legal and structural changes in the insolvency framework.The code will also significantly improve India's "ease of doing business" ranking and over the long term, it will enhance creditor rights, boost investor confidence and facilitate deepening of India's corporate bond market.Achromic Point in association with Vaish Associates Advocates is holding a conference on “Insolvency and Bankruptcy code 2016”.The conference would be highly intensive and interactive session with various stakeholders with the relevant details of the code in the context of building ecosystem for the Insolvency and Bankruptcy code 2016.
