• Term Coding Convention: CYYTC = centuryYY = calendar year of the academic yearT = month of the term start
• Term (T) values:1 = spring semester5 = summer semester8 = fall semester
Term Value Examples **• 2148 = Fall Semester, 2014-15• 2151 = Spring Semester, 2014-15• 2155 = Summer Semester, 2014-15**Continue to use sub term suffixes. (ex. 2155.D)
• 1959 = Fall Quarter, 1995-96• 1960 = Winter Quarter, 1995-96• 1963 = Spring Quarter, 1995-96• 1966 = Summer Quarter, 1995-96

Navigating Catalyst: New Terminology
Today’s Forum Highlights• UCINN is the universal code for University of Cincinnati’s
Academic Institution
• There are four categories on how students Academic Career will be defined. (Undergraduate, Graduate, Law, Medicine)
• A student’s Academic Program is defined by their college’s numeric code and intended degree. (ex. 15BAC: undergraduate degrees in A&S)
• Academic Plan is area of study directly related to a career/program. (ex. Biol-BS: Major-biology, B.S award)
• The Sub Plan is a concentration within an academic plan. Not all plans have sub plans and are not a student requirement.
