Shades & Empire Farm Days Highlight Board MeetingThe Board of Directors of the American Murray Grey Association held a business meeting on Friday evening, August 3, at the LaQuinta Inn in Vancouver, WA. The brief meeting was, basically, a chance for the AMGA office staff to bring the Directors up to date with the Association’s affairs so far this year. Gennie Gerow reported that enough advertising has been sold to ensure that Shades of Grey will go to print.

Director Tim Haws reported that he, Sherie Clark and John Gerow would be attending the Empire Farm Days August 7 – 9 in Seneca Falls, NY. This is one of the

big farm shows in the East and Tim hopes for good exposure for the breed. Sherie Clark plans of bringing cattle to display.

Following the Annual Membership Meeting, the Board reconvened to elect officers. George Virtue, Sweet Home, OR was re-elected President, Chandler Lindsley, Vice President, Julie Harrie, Secretary and Sherie Clark, Treasurer.
