Hands of Kindness Children’s
Ministries (HOKCM) continues to
bring smiles to the children in
Koreng and Apac centers. Since
May 2012 not only have children
received books, pens, pencils,
sharpeners, rulers, erasers, soap,
vaseline., toothpaste, basins, cups,
and plates but they have also re-
ceived soccer balls (3 for each
center). 23 Children in Apac re-
ceived mattresses in the month of
July 2012. 32 from Koreng center
will each get a mattress in the
month of August. For some this
will be the first time they are
sleeping in a comfortable place
since some sleep on a thin mat
and others directly on the floor.
Pastors’ leadership training was
held at Kumi Baptist Church. It
was led by Will Bredberg from
California and Dr. Rev Michael
Okwakol Senior Pastor of Agape
Baptist Church and President
and founder of ACEM. The two
day conference was to empower
the pastors and leaders, of all
denominations in and around
Kumi town, with skills in the
preaching and the teaching of the
Word.
With assistance from Embrace
Uganda a well has been drilled and
its construction soon to be com-
pleted in Koreng Village. This is a
dream come
true for Dr.
Okwakol who
has always
hoped that
God would
smile on his
village. Water was a big problem in
this village with people walking
2kms away to line up for hours for
water in another village. During the
dry season things get even worse
and the people will have to go
6kms for water. The biggest vic-
tims have always been the girl
children as fetch-
ing water is
their re-
sponsibility
and the

goats etc.
other. Women were also encouraged to take
time individually to search their hearts for any
sin and confess it to God. They were encour-
aged to be imitators od Christ (Col 2). Wom-
en were also admonished to take off the “old
nature” and put on the “new nature” (Eph 5).
Women were encouraged to “put off” the old
self and “put on” the new self daily or at least
often. The retreat ended with women sharing a
meal. Women also received gifts; 2 books each
and a scuff brought by Mrs. Liz who came from
North Carolina, USA.
A Women’s training session in conjunction
with Mrs. Liz Criscione and Agape Baptist
Church in Ntinda, Kampala Uganda held a one
day ladies retreat at Life Ministry Center in
Kampala Uganda. Women from Kampala
attended the training session. The theme was
“A Heavenly Awakening.” 35 women from
different churches attended and were encour-
aged to keep their relationship with God right
and when that relationship is right then the
human relationship to others will also be right.
Women were encouraged to take time to
“dig” deep inside their hearts and see if they
had a grudge against another sister or another-
person and if so they were to confess to one

Cossy and Martha accompanied a team from
Amazing Grace Adoption’s Agency to Kisoro
and Masaka (Southen and SouthWestern
part of Uganda). There, they ministered to
children, youth, women, and some men. We
were blessed by God to see more than 100
people come to know the Lord Jesus as their
personal Lord and Savior. In Masaka we had
what would I would compare to a
“Cornelius” experience. One man recom-
mitted his life to God by the end of the
evangelistic presentation at his house , and
his entire household accepted Jesus Christ,
including one of his friends who was visiting
with them at the time.
Thank you Embrace Uganda for providing medical assistance to
the children in Kadacar Primary School and to some of the members
of the community. You saved many children’s lives especially for that
one child whose mother brought to the medical clinic while convuls-
ing and at the end the mother walked out with the child showing
some improvement. Thank you. Thank you, Thank you. Thank you
also for loving the children. Thank you for the blankets, the books
bags, the jump ropes, the tennis balls, the quilts, the mattresses, the
pillows, the bed sheets, the sports equipment you provided for some
of the children. May God bless you abundantly.
Thank you Hands of Kindness Children’s Ministry for the con-
stant support you provide for our children here in Uganda. Thank
you for the mattresses given to 50 children of whom some of the
children this will be their first time to sleep on something comforta-
ble. We pray that God will continue to provide for you so that more
work is done for the children in Uganda.
Thank you Pastor Will Bredberg for training our pastors and
Christian leaders in Kumi.
Thank you Mrs. Liz Crisone for teaching our ladies.
Thank you Amazing Grace Adaptions Team members for wit-
nessing and teaching our people in the Southern and Southwestern
parts of Uganda.
Thank you to all our friends and family who give monetary gifts to
ACEMinistries. And also for those who are in constant prayer for
the ministry, thank you. May God Bless you.
