• The third top technological region on the European level with Eindhoven at the centre
• Many knowledge centres and top higher education• Important service industries
Flashback: Umeå & Valencia
Many issues are related to demographic change: labour market policy, elderly care, fertility, reconcilliation work and family life, intergenerational solidarity. The complexity is the interaction of the issues.
AER Committee 2 should deal with demographic changes. However, how do we do that?
We need a roadmap for demographic change.
