On this film poster I like colours, black, green/yellow

and white, used because it makes the poster look

creepy. I like how you can't see the person standing at

the lamp posts face you can just the outline of the

person standing there. This makes you want to find who

it is and why he is standing there looking up at the

house. It also looks like the man is a stalker which is

what our trailer is about. On my film poster I think I will

have the outline of the main character, the stalker, in the

background of the poster, I think this would draw

attention to my poster because it would look mysterious.

Eden Lake I like the way the lighting is in this film poster because it is light

at the front and we can see a women looking like she is hiding from someone, and dark in the background where there are outlines of a group of people. I like how we are drawn to the light part of the poster when we look closely we can see people in the background.  I like  the colours, blue, black, white and red, used on this poster on because it gives the poster a creepy and cold feel. I also how the title of the film is in red which make it stand out from everything else and it also looks like the title has blood on it. On my film poster I will think about using the same way the lighting is on this poster and have the girlfriend in the lightest part and  then have the outline of the stalker in the background. I also will about using the same colour because I like the way they look and they had the highest results when we were doing our paper questionnaires.

I like the image used on this front cover because the actor look evil. It also makes it creepy because the actor is looking directly at the camera so it looks like they are staring at the reader. I think having the image in black and white give the image a eerie feel. When making my magazine front cover I will think about using this a close up of the stalker’s face and having him looking directly in to the camera. I also like that the way the actor in this image has dark rings under his eyes, when we are taking pictures of our actor I will use make up to make dark rings under his eyes because it looks like he hasn’t slept well and has been up all night think about his ex-girlfriend.

I like the way this image is bright on one side and then fades into black. It makes you feel like they are hiding something. I like the way they have changed the colour of the actors eye the red. This makes you think that he is the devil because the colour red gives us connotation of evil, danger and blood. When I’m making my front cover I will think about changing the colour of the actors eyes and only have the part of the actors face showing on the poster because I think it looks mysterious.
