Water Technologies recently completed design and fabrication of a custom Vantage M86 RO unit for Hydranautics, a Nitto Denko company, for their membrane manufacturing plant in Oceanside, CA. The new RO system will be installed in parallel with an existing water treatment plant, as part of a major plant expansion. Upon initial discovery of the sales opportunity, a standard Vantage RO product was being evaluated by Hydranautics. Since the customer required a new RO system to accommodate for membrane plant expansion and testing of their 16-inch diameter RO membranes, the Sales Team along with the Colorado Springs Factory Engineering/Product Management group worked closely with the customer to develop a customized Vantage M86 RO utilizing the large diameter membranes. The system was built in the Colorado Springs factory and Hydranautics conducted a customer witnessed test to review the system prior to shipment. They have recently received their system which has exceeded their expectations and are very pleased with their purchase.
