Information system development:
A change process taken with respect to object systems in a set
of environments by adevelopment group using tools and an organized
collection of techniques collectivelyreferred to as a method to
achieve or maintain some objectives

systems, but they can be broadlyconsidered as spatial information

Stages of Information system Development:
1. Analysis:-his is a very important part in the development of
an Information #ystem andinvolves looking at an organisation or
system "such as a nursery school' and findingout how information is
being handled at the moment
If there is no computer system then the first task will be to
look at e)isting manualsystems
It is possible to find out about e)isting systems in a number of
ways* -alking to the people who work with the system .uestionnaires
to e)isting users /bserving how people use the system eading
e)isting manuals
If the aim is to improve an e)isting computer system the methods
of analysispreviously mentioned are still important
-he analysis phase often includes a feasibility study At the end
of this phase adecision needs to be made as to what software to
use
