What to BringClothes

- You will be responsible for your own laundry, so pack with this in mind

- There will be some walking in the excursion nights and the Day of Fun, please prepare a pair of support sneakers

Toiletries

- You may get most of the items in convenient stores, if you have particular brands that you need or are fond of, please

bring them as you may not find them here.

Food

- You may find most of the food you need in convenient stores, hawker centers and supermarkets, so please only bring

what you cannot live without

Electrical Appliance

- You will only need to bring the adapter you use in Hong Kong to Singapore

Other Items

- Please bring an umbrella

- Pillows, towels and beddings are provided in hostel, however, an extra towel is recommended for such hot and humid

weather

Money

- The cost of flights, accommodations and museum visits are included. You will be responsible for personal expenses,

like meals, transportations, phone and data charges, entertainment and some souvenir shopping.

- The budget of a usual day would be SGD20 for transportation and SGD10-15 for each meal. Ticket to Universal Studios

Singapore is SGD74 (Express pass ranging from SGD30 to SGD50)

Medicines, Prescriptions, Copies and Health Issues

- We will not be travelling in any rural areas, and we will stay around the hotel and standard tourist attractions in the

modern area of Singapore. Students should check with their own doctors regarding vaccinations or medications he

would need

- If you take prescription medication, please write down the exact name of the medicine and the amount taken daily on a

separate sheet of paper and make two extra copies

- Also make three copies of your passport and ID card

Leave one copy with your parents, we will keep another copy with your medical records here. You keep the

third copy

Passports

- Students must have a passport valid through at least October 2016. Additional visa is not required for holders of HK

passport

- Phone cards and internet data cards are available at convenient stores in Singapore, costing around SGD10 each.

Students should be responsible for their own telecommunication arrangements

- Before the tour, parents can contact us should there be any enquiries regarding the tour (see the contact information

below). During the tour, we will regularly keep parents informed of the student’s situation through E-mail.

Reminder on the Major Rules- Parents: please review these rules in detail with your children. If they feel that these rules will unduly restrict their

learning or are not completely willing to abide by them, it would be better for them not to join the tour.

- Review these rules carefully with your parents to make sure that both of you and your parents understand them

Safety is on our priority

Students are expected to attend every class and program scheduled

All private outings are subject to approval of TIC or TA

Alcohol and drug possession and consumption are strictly forbidden and will result in immediate dismissal

from the program and return home at your parents’ expense

Cooperate with TICA and TA at all times
