AlloperatorsarerequiredtotakepartinEnergetic’sDrugandAlcoholProgram.WerequirePre-Hireurine(drug)andbreath(alcohol)samplesbeforecommencingwork.Energeticconductspostincidentandquarterlyrandomtestingandmaytestworkersforreasonablecauseundercertaincircumstances,orifrequestedtodosobyacustomer.

InsuranceEnergeticprovidesinsuranceandregistra-tionservicesforeveryunitinthefleet.OurOwnerOperatorsbenefitfromthisfleetdis-count.InterprovinciallicensingallowsthetrucktooperateinbothBritishColumbiaandAlberta,withoutspecialpermitsorinsurancechanges.


Corporate Decaling PolicyItisimportanttoestablishstandardsforcolour,sizeandplacementoftheEnergeticlogoonbothcom-panyownedvehiclesandOwnerOperatedserviceequipment.Uniformcolours,sizeandplacementofthelogowillestablishaconsistentappearanceacrossthefleet.

Standard Logo

TheEnergeticlogoisaregisteredtrademarkandisshownbelow.Itwillbeusedwiththisaspectratioandthesecoloursonallvehicles.Whilethesizeoftheim-agemaychangeaccordingtothedetailsbelow,neitherthecoloursnortheshapemaybeskewed,stretched,compressedorchangedinanymannerwhatsoever.Notethatthe®symbolmustbeincludedandwillbeblack,placedatthetoprightofthelogo,andwillhavethesamerelativesizeasshown:approximatelyhalftheheightofthetopoftheletterC.

Placement and Size

Forthepurposesofthisdocument,the‘lengthofthedecal’referstotheoveralllengthoftheentirelogo,in-cludingthe‘bullet’ontheleft,theEnergetictext,andthe®symbolontheright,asshownabove.Lengthsandpercentagesoflengthswillbemeasuredexactly.

Pick-ups:Decalswillbeaffixedonpick-upsonbothbackdoorwindows.Thelengthofthedecalwillex-tendacross75%ofthewidthofthewindow,orientedacrossthebottomrearoftheglass.Aunitnumberdecalwillbeaffixedontherearwindow,orientedatthebottomleftoftheglass.Unitnumberdecalswillbe2.0incheshighinMyriadProregularfont.

Truck Cab Door Decals:Decalswillbeaffixedonbothdriverandpassengertruckcabdoors.Inthe

eventofafourdoorcab,onlythefronttwodoorswillbedecaled.Thelengthofthedecalwillbe70%ofthewidthofthedoor.Thedecalwillbecenteredhorizon-tallyacrossthedoor.Thetopofthedecalwillbe2to6inchesbelowthemaindoorwindow,dependingontheplacementofmirrorbrackets,doorhandles,bootwindows,etc.Intheeventthedesignofthedoorpre-ventstheuninterruptedapplicationofthedecal,thedecalwillbeaffixedovertopoftrim,bootwindows,etc.

Tankers & Bulkers: Decalswillbeaffixedasclosetothecentreofthevesselhorizontallyandverticallyaspossible.Decalsarenotpermittedtobeorientedto-wardstherearofthevehicle,forexample.Intheeventofabelt-linereflectivestrip,catwalkorotherobstruc-tionalongthecenterlineofthetankerorbulker,theverticalorientationmaybeadjustedasrequired.Donotre-orientthedecalaroundsmallobstructionsliketankgaugesorladders.Decalswillbeaffixedoverorunderthesetypesofobstructions.

Thesizeofthedecalontankersandbulkerswilldependonthesize,typeandconfigurationofequip-ment,i.e.bodyjob,bodyjobwithpup,wagonorquad,straighttrailer,superb.Thelengthofthedecalswillbeasfollows:

WhenanEnergeticOwnerOperatorremovesatruckfromthefleet,all“Energetic”decalsmustimmediatelyberemovedfromthetruckandtrailer(s)atthecostoftheOwnerOperator.Energeticreservestherighttoretainthe$10,000holdbackuntilproofofdecalremovalisacceptedbyouroffice,inaccordancewiththeEnergeticServicesInc.TruckingAgreement.

Owner Operator Decals

EnergeticpermitstheuseofOwnerOperatorcom-panydecalsasfollows.Thepreferredlocationisonthesideofthesleeperatthebottom.Ifthetruckisnot

equippedwithasleeper,decalswillbeaffixedonthecabofthetruck(notonthedoors),belowandbehindtheEnergeticmaincabdoordecals.Ifthereisnocabspacebelowandbehindthemaincabdoors,OwnerOperatorcompanydecalsarenotpermitted.OwnerOperatorcompanynamedecalsmaynotbeaffixedtoanyotherareaoftheexteriorofthetruckortrailer.Thisistoclearlyidentifytothecustomer,lawenforce-mentandgeneralpublicthatthetruckisworkingforEnergetic.

Grandfathering

EnergeticunitsthataredecaledincontraventiontothispolicypriortoJanuary1,2014maynotbere-quiredtoremoveandreplacetheirdecals.Ifdecalsareremovedforanyreason,theunitwillbere-decaledinaccordancewiththispolicy.

Decal Condition & Appearance

IntheeventtheEnergeticdecalsbecomefaded,cracked,peeledorotherwisedamagedtheywillbere-placedatthediscretionoftheAreaManagerinorder


GEOTrac GPS System PolicyThisisourprotocolforobtaining,installing,mainte-nanceanduse,uninstallingandreturning,warrantyandcostofaGEOTracGPSsystemforallvehiclesregisteredtoEnergeticServicesInc.

General Conditions of Use

EnergeticrequiresthatallvehiclesregisteredwiththecompanybeequippedwithafunctioningGEOTracGPSsystematalltimes.

Obtaining a GEOTrac GPS System

GEOTracGPSSystemsmaybepurchasedneworused(whenavailable)fromEnergeticServicesInc.TheymayalsobepurchasedusedfromanoutsidesourcependinginspectionbyEnergeticpersonnel.ThesystemiswhollyownedbytheOwnerOperator.

Installation Requirements

TheGEOTracsystemmustbeprofessionallyinstalledbyaGEOTractrainedinstallationcompany.Thescreenmustbewithinsafeandcomfortablereach,andinfullviewofthedriverofthetruck.Thescreenmustnotobstructthedriver’sviewoutsidethevehicle.

Maintenance & Use

TheOwnerOperatorwillkeeptheGEOTracGPSsystemfunctioningproperlyandmountedappropri-ately.ItistheresponsibilityoftheOwnerOperatortobeproficientwiththeuseoftheGEOTracsystem.TrainingisavailablethroughEnergetic.Intheeventofamalfunction,theOwnerOperatorwillscheduleserviceassoonaspossiblewithaGEOTractrainedservicefacility.Energeticreservestherighttowith-holdworkfortruckswithoutafunctioningGEOTracGPSsystem.

Uninstalling & Resale

IfanOwnerOperatorleavesEnergeticanddoesnotwishtokeepthesystemforfutureuse,Energeticmay,

tomaintainaprofessionalappearance.

Cost

TheinitialinstallationcostoftheEnergeticwindow,door,vessel,boxandunitnumberdecalsforallnewpiecesofequipmentwillbepaidbyEnergeticServicesInc.Intheeventexistingdecalsaredamagedorworn,theOwnerOperatorwillpayforreplacementdecals.Energeticwillnotpayfortheremovalofanydecalsorfortheinstallationofanydecalsotherthanoutlinedabove.IntheeventanOwnerOperatorleavesthecompanyandthenreturnsandnewdecalsarere-quired,theOwnerOperatorwillpayforreplacementdecals.

Anynon-conformanceordeviationfromthedetailsofthispolicywillresultinthetruckbeingreturnedtothedecalshopfortheoffendingdecaltoberemovedandreplacedwithanappropriatedecal.ThecostoftheduplicateworkwillbetheresponsibilityofeithertheOwnerOperatororthedecalshop,dependingonthecauseofthenon-conformance.EnergeticreservestherighttowithholdworkfromOwnerOperatorsatitsdiscretionduetonon-conformingdecals.

totheOwnerOperatoronthemonthlystatementforeachunit.

Energetic’sGEOTracsatellitecommunicationsystemisdesignedandusedtosatisfyourWorkAlonePolicy,toprovideameansofcommunicationandlocationidentificationbetweenthetruckandofficewhenoutsideofcellularserviceandtocoordinatethesafeoperationofourfleet.Ourabilitytoprovidethesevalue-addedservicesispartofwhatmakesEnergeticthebestchoiceforclientsandOwnerOperatorsalike.

• Systemisover2yearsold:Energeticdoesnotpurchasesystemsover2yearsold.

Energeticwillnotbuybacksystemsthathavenotbeenprofessionallyuninstalled,thataremissingpartsorthatdonottestsuccessfullyataqualifiedshop.

Warranty

GEOTracprovidesaoneyearwarrantyonallnewsystems.Intheeventofadefect,theOwnerOperatorwillcontactGEOTracthroughtheirchoseninstalla-tionfacility.EnergeticdoesnotrecommendthattheOwnerOperatorcontactGEOTracdirectly.
