Pilot Schemes for Mobile Connectivity and ICT Related Livelihood Skills for

Women’s SHGs

under the under the

Gender Budget Cell of Department of Telecommunications and the

Universal Service Obligation Fund

o SHGs formed and financed by banks

o SHGs formed by formal agencies (other than banks, NGOs and others) that are

directly financed by banks and District Rural Development Agency / Women

Development Corporation, etc. and

o SHGs financed by banks and / or government departments using NGOs and

other agencies as financial intermediaries.

� seasonal diagram (season wise variations in agriculture, fisheries and other

occupations and associated risks and the coping mechanisms, migration pattern,

identification / assessment of capacity building / training needs for undertaking
