Notes: *1 Wiring length shown above is the total wiring length from Infilex AC to a device in connection, including the wiring to and from an external
terminal block. *2 Power supply and ground wires are connected to the M3 screw terminals. Crimp the terminal lugs on the wire ends. *3 Communication and input/output wires are connected to the screwless push-in terminals. Strip the wire sheath and connect the wires.
Sheath strip length: 8 mm (Pin terminal cannot be used.) *4 RTD (Pt1000) temperature input is two-wire. Take the measuring error into account because the wire resistance causes measuring error.
For instance, 1.25 mm2 size wire causes approx. 0.1 °C measuring error every 10 m. Correct the measuring error by setting Infilex AC. *5 When the valve/damper is connected for the system common wiring, the valve/damper operating current flows through the common line.
Hence, the specification is as shown above. For a 20 m long IV 1.25 mm2 cable, 4-wire connection is necessary to prevent the operating current from flowing through the common line.

Precautions for wiring
Tube marker:
Since Infilex AC adopts the screwless push-in terminals, wires are connected without crimping terminal lugs. Therefore, if normal tube markers are used, they may come off when you disconnect the wires. To prevent this, use the following Flat Tube Marker. It is held on a wire by friction and thus does not come off easily.
Flat Tube Marker Manufacturer Phoenix Contact Item number 5880029 Model TMC-3 Applicable wire size 0.4 mm2 to 2 mm2 Package unit 200 m/roll
2 mm2 cable running outside the control panel: Use an external terminal block to switch to 1.25 mm2 cable inside the control panel.
Two wires for one terminal: Use an external terminal block to aggregate the wires.
Fan ON/OFF: Use a small-power circuit (max. 60 V operating voltage and 1.5 A operating current) to turn on and off fan.
Signal wire for output to inverter: Use a shielded cable.
Power supply wiring
Crimp M3 terminal lugs with insulation on the wire ends, and connect the wires to the power supply terminals.

Wiring to I/O and NC-bus terminals
The I/O and NC-bus wires are connected to the screwless push-in terminals of Infilex AC. Follow the procedure below for the I/O and NC-bus wiring.
1) Strip the wire sheath 8 mm. Note: * Scale for the strip length is indicated on the front surface of Infilex AC basic unit. If the insulation stripped part is longer than 8 mm, it
may get exposed, causing electrical shock or short circuit between adjacent terminals. If it is shorter, it may not contact the terminal connector.
2) Make sure that no wire fiber goes out of the wire end.
3) Press the button on the terminal block deeply enough using a slotted screwdriver and insert the wire. (Maximum button-pressing force is 23 N.) Then, release the button.
4) Gently pull out the wire horizontally to make sure that it is completely held by the clamp and check no wire fiber being disconnected from the terminal.
Note: * If you pull out the wire diagonally, it may be disconnected.
Arrangement of the wires connected to Infilex AC
Notes: * Neatly place the wires using cable ties or the like so as not to hide LED, Data Setter connector, mark of Data Setter connector, S1 switch,
battery holder, and indication tag. * Do not leave slack in the wires that run between the cable duct and Infilex AC. * Sideway mounting shown in the figure above is allowed only when I/O module, UT module, or integral type Operator Panel is NOT
assembled with the basic unit. Do not mount the Infilex AC basic unit sideway with the power supply terminals located upper corner, lying on its back, or lying face down. Always install the basic unit assembled with an I/O module, and/or UT module/integral type Operator Panel in upright position.

Precautions for Wiring of Infilex AC and Devices
System common wiring
Ground line () is used as a common line for signal transmission to/from the field devices. For the system common, the common-mode power must be supplied to Infilex AC and each device (such as ACTIVAL™) via the wires connected to "~" and "" terminals of Infilex AC and each device. For the signal transmission between Infilex AC and each device, use "" wiring.
Figure 10. Wiring example: System common wiring
IMPORTANT:
Use an isolation transformer. Do not ground the secondary side of the transformer.
Provide a terminal block aright ahead of the transformer, and divide the line at the terminal block to connect to each device. (See Fig. 10.)
Inverter

IMPORTANT:
If Infilex AC and a humidity sensor are powered by a single transformer, the sensor might get damaged. Depending on the other connected devices and on the wiring condition, a short-circuit current may flow into the sensor and into the Infilex AC.
Precautions for Use
Before supplying the power
Check that the all the wires are correctly connected.
Remove the protective sheet from the top surface of Infilex AC. Note: * if some foreign objects possibly come inside Infilex AC from the ventilation holes on the side and bottom surfaces, cover the ventilation
holes with sheets.
