    6.1 IOS MTP

Provision both the CorpHQ (R1) and Branch1 (R2) routers to support MediaTermination Point services for up to 50 concurrent sessions

Do not use any DSPs to accomplish this task

Enable support on these MTPs for both RSVP and Trusted Relay Point

    6.2 IOS Conference Bridge

Provision the CorpHQ router (R1) to support 1 conference bridging session

Enable all codecs supported by the PVDM2 C5510 chipset while still allowingsupport for a 16 participant conference

    6.3 IOS Transcoding

Provision both the CorpHQ (R1) and Branch1 (R2) routers to support transcodingwith the following specifications:

o Only provision the specific codecs and their specific variants that Type-BCisco IP Phones support, and within those, limit provisioning further toonly those that can be transcoded to anyother codec as well as those thatwill not allow VAD

o Provide support for up to 4 transcoding sessions

o Provision a type of transcoder that can accommodate different codecs, different packetization periods, or a combination of both of thosesimultaneously.

    6.4 Media Preference and Redundancy

Assign all software and hardware media resources to all endpoints so thatdevices at a given site have access first to their local media resources (if any at asite), and then to CorpHQ media resources

Ensure that for any CUCM-based software media resources, that all endpointschoose to utilize the Publisher-based resources first, before trying to consumethe Subscriber-bases resources - as it is primarily providing CPE functionality toeveryone

    6.5 Meet-Me Conferencing

Setup a Meet-Me Conference at the DN of 4010

The conference should allow any IP Phones to setup the conference, however ifthe person who set's up the conference, leaves the call, then the conferencebridge should disintegrate for the remaining users

If any member of the conference puts the conference on hold, MoH should beallowed to be played to the conference

    6.6 Ad-Hoc Conferencing

Any IP Phones should be able to setup an ad-hoc conference, however if theperson who set's up the conference, leaves the call, then the conference bridgeshould disintegrate for the remaining users

If Jack sets up an ad-hoc conference between himself, Hugo and Benjamin, andJames calls either Hugo or Benjamin, they should be able to add him into theconference

    6.7 Annunciator

Make it so that when anyone dials the DN of 1888, that the call does not gothrough and meets with the following error:

o SCCP Phones & GWs as well as H.323 GWs should hear a messagestating: "Your call cannot be completed as dialed"

o SIP Phones & Trunks and MGCP GWs should hear reorder tone

6.8 Traditional Multicast Music on Hold

Provision multicast music on hold for the CorpHQ site phones and gateway

o Test by making a call from CorpHQ Phone1 out to the PSTN Phone (911is fine), and have CorpHQ Phone1 place the PSTN on hold. This wayMulticast will stream to your CorpHQ GW and be turned into PCM andsent over the TDM PRI where it will then travel Unicast from the PSTNrouter back to your remote study PSTN phone.

o Note: If you have software or hardware IP Phones at your remote studyingsite (i.e. right in front of you), and you are using EzVPN to connect, youwill not be able to hear this music on hold due to the fact that it is basedon IPSec and the IPSec (IKEv1/ESPv2) protocol is inherently incompatiblewith Multicast traffic. Instead use the testing method outlined in theprevious bullet.

    6.9 Unicast Music on Hold

Provision Unicast Music on Hold for Branch1 site phones and gateway

This MoH RTP traffic must use the G.729 codec (as all other CorpHQ to Branch1traffic does), however you are not allowed to change any IP-Voice MediaStreaming App Service Parameters to accomplish this task

6.10 Alternate Multicast Music on Hold

Provision multicast music on hold for the Branch2 site phones and gateway

Stream all MoH RTP traffic using the G.711 codec, however ensure that no WANbandwidth is utilized to do so (thus not breaking the rule of G.729 RTP traffic onlyover the WAN)
