In this design fi xing holes are omitted and are replaced with welded-on M8 threaded studs.This provides an attractive, smooth, and tamper-proof visible surface, in either mirror-polishedstainless steel or mild steel, black powder-coated. Left-hand and right-hand available.

These hinges have been designed for corrosion resistance, and to prevent stiffness and uneven action, common problems on construction sites and other ‘dirty’ environments. They are made from self-colour composite material, with a stainless pin ‘buried’ within the hinge and fi tted with an ‘O’-ring to stop dirt and debris from entering. Left-hand & right-hand versions.

Moulded for strength and good appearance, large-diameter stainless steel pin for easy assembly, with ‘O’-ring fi tted as shown.

Used on hinged cover "JIC" enclosures to attach the cover to the box .

Design

FabTech’s Hinges are precut to fit the most popular sizes of "JIC" boxes without further trimming. Our hinge has a formed offset of .025" to prevent the hinge barrel from rubbing the box. They also have .032" paint clearance between the leaf and the barrel to prevent the painted barrel from rubbing the hinge leaf.

Materials

Our steel "JIC" hinges are manufactured from cold rolled steel except the pin which is T304 stainless steel. Both the pin and the leaves of our stainless steel hinges are made from T304 stainless steel.
