The gas contents of Coregas cylinders are identified by the labels affixed to the shoulder of the cylinders. A cylinder without a label should not be used, but should be returned to the supplier. An important part of the label is the class diamond, which represents the characteristic of the gas, as illustrated. A label with multiple class diamonds indicates multiple associated hazards.
