    1 Complying with A.W. 112, a Summary Court-Martial, convened at Kansas City, Mo., pursuant to S.O. 228, Hq., KCQM Depot, dated 25 September 1943, for the purpose of disposing of the effects of the above-named soldier, or person subject to military law, reports that:

    a. No legal representative or widow of decedent being present at decedents camp or quarters, effects of decedent were forwarded to this Summary Court-Martial.

    Ihis organization acting on information acquired from the statement of JAHN, SRICH sent a team to Walsrode (248-758 Soltau M 4 1;10C.000) to get the personaleffects of above named deceased.

    It was learned that the 84th Group British Secret Service Unit had moved it's headquarters. Present location unknown to this company.

    On the 4«9.45 when this American was buried I was present. The body was carried to the Qross-Haeusslingen English cemetery. An English priest held the service. One dogtag is nailed on the cross. His personal effects consisted of Jhglish ponds pistol and clips and note book. His uniform consisted of a green combination flying suit and boots. A brown wooden coffin was used. .The British Secret Service Unit 84 Group at Walsrode has the other dogtag and personal effects.

    Subject : Recovery of body out of the Aller River at KLein-Haeuslingen.

    After the highwater had fallen a male body was found on the right side of the Aller river at 21ein-Haeuslingen. The body was recovered by the farm manager Gustav Brandt and the Truckiriver Willi Friemke, both living on a farm KLein-Haeuslingen. I brought this body to the morgue of Gross-Haeuslingen. I found on a dogtag that this body was ax American flyer with the name SLOICZENSKL, CHESTER M. t 36853603 T 43 W

    I reported this recovery to RAF Unit 84 Group, Walsrode, on the

    2nd of September 1945*

    After the Bepartaent of the Arny has completed all final interments, the cemetery v i l l be transferred, as authorized by the Congress, to the care and supervision of the American Battle Monuments Commission. The ComalsBion also v i l l have the responsibility for permanent construction and beautification of the cemetery, including erection of the permanent headstone.
