been promoted by CII (Confederation of

Indian Industry) with the financial support

from the National Skill Development

Corporation (NSDC). FFSC has skilled 64

Other Backward Class (OBC) candidates in

the job role of Carpenter- Wooden

Furniture with the support from Indian

Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) and

National Backward Classes Finance

Development Corporation (NBCFDC). The

project was implemented by two affiliated

training partners (Lala Kundan Lal

Memorial Society & T S Skill & Tech Pvt

Ltd). At Loni, Uttar Pradesh 32 candidates

are undergoing training by T S Skill & Tech

Pvt Ltd and at Fatehabad, Haryana rest 32

candidates were skilled by Lala Kundan Lal

Memorial Society. The training was for 308

hours (practical 172 hours and theory 136

hours). The candidates were given content

(book) of Carpenter- Wooden Furniture. A

tool Kit Set comprising Saw, Hammer,

Chisel, Jack Plane, Spirit Level, etc .

Theory and Practical Training at Fatehabad

Mr Ompal Singh is a mason who is currently not is a position to work. The family is

economically extremely backward. Punit was the first trainee who took admission in the

course. He is a patient, hardworking trainee, who hardly missed any class. After completing

the training he was selected by a Godrej Subsidiary Company in the Job Mela organized by

NBCFDC. He has received his offer letter from Hon’ble Minister Shri Thor Chand Gehlot in the

Siiver Jublee function of NBCFDC. Now he is earning Rs 7,000 per month.

2. Gaurav Pal

Gaurav Pal belongs to a daily wage labourer family. He has completed his course in the

carpenter- wooden furniture. He was selected by a Subsidiary of Godrej Interior in the job fair

organised by NBCFDC. He has received the offer letter from Hon’ble Minister Shri Thor Chand

Gehlot in the Siiver Jublee function of NBCFDC. Now he is earning Rs 7,000 per month.

3. Danis Saif

Danis Saifi was one of the finest trainees of his batch. During the training also he used

to work in the local shops in the free time. After completing the training he was selected by a

Godrej Subsidiary Company as an apprentice he is getting Rs. 7000/month.

4. Abid Ali

Abid, post training expressed his desire to become a trainer. Accordingly he joined as

Apprentice assistant trainer with TS Skill and Tech. Abid joined the ToT course of FFSC and

cleared the assessment. The entire expense of this program was born by the training institute.

Post certification Abid is working as Assistant Trainer at Mohannagar Branch of T S Skill and

Tech Pvt Ltd. His current salary is Rs.7000/pm. He will be promoted to Trainer after six months

with a Gross salary of Rs. 15000/month.
