INDIAN PLUMBING TODAY COVER STORY

The main thrust of the City Development Plan (CDP) is on major infrastructure projects relating to water supply, sanitation, sewerage, solid waste management, road network, urban transportation and re-development of inner (old) city areas. The vision is upgradation of infrastructure, development of heritage areas, drains/storm water drains and preservation of water bodies.

The choice of Nashik as the venue for the 20th IPC by IPA is appropriate for various reasons:(a) it happens during Nashik’s rapid developmental stage (b) it coincides with the city’s vision of growth (c) it complements the city’s aim of providing better plumbing

installations, safer sanitation practices and water management. IPA has aptly chosen the Conference’s theme as “Plumbing Systems for Emerging Modern Cities”. The Conference will be held at Hotel Express Inn, Nashik on September 10 & 11, 2015.

A knowledgeable panel of experts will deliberate on various topics of relevance during the conference. A concurrent exhibition will showcase the latest products and systems in the field of plumbing. The event is gearing up and is all set to add to IPA’s relentless efforts to re-define plumbing standards in India. Here is a preview of the convention scheduled to be held next month at Nashik...
