Monsoon Climate• A monsoon is a strong wind

that blows across regions at certain times of the year

• From October- May, monsoons carry dry wind across India

• The rest of the year, they carry moisture from the Indian Ocean across India to drench its valleys and plains

After lasting for 1,000 years, the Indus Valley

civilization vanished around the year 1500

BC. No one knows exactly why. In time the Indus Valley

was taken over by people called the Indo -
