On arrival in Dambulla, check in to yourhotel before driving to the nearby Sigiriya Rock Fortress, or Lion Rock, one of SriLanka’s most iconic sights. DAY 3 DAMBULLA / POLONNARUWA Explore the ancient royal capital ofPolonnaruwa, one of the most beautiful centres in Sri Lanka’s cultural heritage. DAY 4 DAMBULLA – KANDY Proceed to Kandy, stopping en-route to visit theUNESCO World Heritage site, Dambulla Cave Temple, the best-preserved cave templecomplex in Sri Lanka. This Buddhist place of worship is thought to date back to the1st century, and houses the country’s most sacred Buddha images. On arrival inKandy check in at Hotel Suisse (4 star), Earl’s Regency (5 star) or The Elephant Stables(Luxury), before an evening Kandyan Dance performance, a colourful spectacleincluding fire-walkers. DAY 5 KANDY Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, a complex said to holdthe tooth of the Lord Buddha himself. Continue on to see the Royal Botanical Gardensbefore an afternoon free to wander around the city’s lake and explore the localmarkets. (B, D)

DAY 7 NUWARA ELIYA / HORTON PLAINS Enjoy the views as you depart earlyfor Horton Plains National Park, travelling on scenic village roads past Ambewela andPattipola. This stunning National Park lies in the shadows of some of Sri Lanka’shighest peaks and offers excellent hikes for all levels including World’s End andBaker’s Falls. DAY 8 NUWARA ELIYA – ELLA – YALA NATIONAL PARK Discover the journeyfrom tree to cup of the world-famous high-grown Ceylon Tea. With your expert guide,walk through a local tea plantation, meet with a Tea plucker and visit the factory tosee the processing stage followed by a tea-tasting session. Afterwards depart NuwaraEliya aboard the local train travelling to Ella, a journey considered to be one of theworld’s most beautiful. You will travel along the edge of mountains, passing tea estatesin the spectacular high country whilst rolling in and out of pockets of mist filledmountain air. On arrival in Ella you will drive to Yala National Park, staying at CinnamonWild Yala (4 star), Jetwing Yala (5 star) or Jetwing Tented Villas (Luxury). (B, D)

DAY 9 YALA NATIONAL PARK Depart early for your jeep safari in Yala, the secondlargest National Park in Sri Lanka and home to a great diversity of wildlife, most famousof which is the leopard. Look out for elephants, sloth bears, water buffaloes, wildboars, crocodiles and of course leopards. Yala is known as one of the best places inthe world to spot the elusive big cat. (B, D)

DAY 10 YALA NATIONAL PARK – GALLE – BENTOTA Travel the scenic route fromSri Lanka’s southeast coast to Galle in the southwest. En route visit beautiful beaches,the Wevurukannala Buddha Statue (the largest in the island) and stilt fishermen inKoggala. Once in Galle you will enjoy a tour of the Heritage listed fort area with itscharming laneways, rich trading history and Dutch-colonial buildings. BROCHURE VALIDITY, PRICES & GSTThis brochure is valid from 1 February 2018 – 30 September 2019,unless withdrawn or substituted earlier. All prices stated in thisbrochure are in AUD and based on tariffs and exchange rates asat 1 February 2018. Prices are dynamic and subject to changewithout notice in the event of fluctuations in exchange rates orincreases in airfares or supplier costs outside the control of BeyondTravel. However, no surcharges will apply once final payment hasbeen received except in the case of government charges or taxes.Most overseas products featured in this brochure are exempt froma Goods and Services Tax. However, due to legislation, GST isapplicable on all domestic services provided, such ascancellations, amendments, visa processing, etc.

DEPOSITS & BALANCE DUETo secure a booking, the following non-refundable deposits willbe required for all services within 7 days upon receipt of aconfirmation invoice:

Rail, flight, cruise, coach and theatre tickets are non-refundableonce issued or purchased. Airline tickets and rail passes whichhave been issued are subject to cancellation fees imposed by theairline, rail or cruise company.

Refunds: no refund is available for cancellations once travelarrangements have commenced, or “no-shows” due to personalnegligence or choice. Beyond Travel does not authorise anyoverseas supplier or hotel to promise refunds on our behalf. Allclaims for refunds or reimbursements must be received in writingwithin 3 weeks from the date the service was provided.

Special Itineraries: the territory we cover is vast, and we oftenreceive requests for special itineraries requiring extensiveresearch which may require a non-refundable service fee of $220to cover time and communication costs. Should our quote beaccepted, this fee will then be credited towards the cost of thetour or other services booked with Beyond Travel. Abovepayment, service and cancellation fees are inclusive of GST.

BONUS EXTRASBonus extras, as detailed on page 6, are valid for our Private Touritineraries in India only. Bonus Extras are invalid if the tour forwhich it was issued is cancelled, and have no cash value.

TOUR / CRUISE CANCELLATIONBeyond Travel and its principals reserve the right to cancel anytour before departure. Should a tour be cancelled, alternativearrangements of as close a standard as practicable will berecommended: - however if a suitable alternative is not found, afull refund will be offered. Should you accept an alternative thatis at a cheaper price, we will refund the difference. Once asuitable alternative has been offered or the fare has beenrefunded, Beyond Travel accept no further liability.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION1a: (+) Most tours in this brochure offer a choice of 4 grades ofaccommodation: 4 star, 5 star, Heritage and Luxury. Whereverpossible your accommodation will be in a hotel that correspondswith the grade selected. However, in some locations where nosuitable hotel in your chosen category exists you will beaccommodated in an alternative category. These are shown onthe itineraries and your price is reflective of this change.

HOTEL, SHIP, AIR, RAIL & ITINERARY CHANGESBeyond Travel and its principals will do everything possible tomake sure your holiday goes according to plan; however,sometimes an unforeseen event occurs to cause changes toitinerary, hotel , rail or vessel in which case an alternative of similarstandard will be arranged. Beyond Travel will notify you on thesechanges as soon as possible, but be under no further obligation.

TOUR CONDITIONS & SPECIAL REQUESTSThe services we provide are suitable for almost anyone and ageis seldom an issue. An eagerness to be involved and a positiveapproach to travel will result in a satisfying and rewardingholiday. It is however your responsibility to ensure that you havea suitable level of fitness to undertake your chosen travel itineraryand you must inform Beyond Travel of any medical condition thatmay prevent your full participation. For the enjoyment and safetyof our passengers, Beyond Travel and its principles reserve theright to substitute hotels and amend itineraries if necessary todo so. Beyond Travel should be advised at time of booking of

any dietary requirements or special requests, such as beddingpreferences, non-smoking rooms, etc. Whilst we can notguarantee, we will place those requests and endeavour to havethe supplier honour these requests when possible.

DOCUMENTATIONDocumentation is normally issued within 4 weeks of yourdeparture from Australia or New Zealand.

PASSPORTS & VISASAustralian and New Zealand citizens must hold a current passportwhich must be valid for at least 6 months after your departure. It isthe responsibility of the individual to obtain the required visas priorto departure. Failure to do so which results in the need to canceltravel arrangements will incur normal cancellation penalties.

INSURANCECancellation and refund conditions are strictly enforced;therefore, we strongly recommend that you carry comprehensivetravel insurance which covers cancellation due to unforeseencircumstances or those beyond your control. Ask your travelagent or Beyond Travel consultant for a choice of policies.

RESPONSIBILITYBeyond Travel Group Pty Ltd, trading as Beyond Travel, is anintermediary and acts only in the capacity of agent for thepassengers in all matters of transportation, tour and cruiseoperations and other services. All receipts, tickets or vouchers areissued subject to the terms and conditions under which servicesare provided. To the fullest extent permitted by law. Beyond Travelassumes no responsibility for loss, injury, accident, delay, damageor irregularity that may be caused to person or property, howevercaused or arising during any tour under its management,sponsorship or procurement. Travellers acknowledge thatreasonable changes may be made, and it is the responsibility ofthe passengers to make sure that they are in possession of theproper travel documents. The issuance and acceptance ofreceipts, tickets, or vouchers shall be deemed consent to theabove conditions. If Beyond Travel’s services are not supplied to aconsumer, its liability is limited to the re-supply of the services orpayment of the cost of having those services resupplied. Nothingin this document is intended to limit or waive any applicableconsumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law withrespect to the provision of services with due care and skill, withina reasonable time (if no time is set) and that they be fit for anyspecified purpose.
