•Feeling the problem we decided to remove it. But it was not an easy task. Because maximum women never feel free from their family and field works. So we decided to go to them in noon time. Keeping in mind the limitation of time we felt that only signature campaign may be run.

# We gave the name of campaign “Thumb to Signature”. # To aware the people in limited time of one week, we decided to organize meetings, rallies, role plays by using hand made posters, hand bills, banners and self prepared slogans# We also decided to involve maximum illiterate women in our campaign.# In seven days they will be able to mark their signature.# A committee for continuous monitoring after the end of campaign was also to be formed

# Rally was our first step, in which enthusiastic students of Satya Bharti spreading awareness through banners, hand outs and raising slogans.# Students were distributing hand outs among the villagers during rally having benefits of education. # Sticking of hand made posters on the walls of village was our next step.# Girl students have created awareness among women through educational songs.

Students played a very interesting and educative role play having a lot of fun among the villagers. The title of the role play was “Dakia Dak Laya.”

• The most important activity of our campaign was to regular practice of formation of signature.• The was being done on chart paper as well as on slates too. •Women were taking much interest in our effort and cooperating regularly.•Till the last day of campaign maximum women were successfully marking their signature.

# Certainly the above steps were very helpful to achieve our target of literacy, but the main task was to maintain its continuity. For it we formed a committee of villagers along with some students and teacher of Satya Bharti too. The committee will have to go continuously to these woman.. # For the continuity of this campaign the committee has taken an oath till the removal of this problem.
