Help share vision….. Eye donation is very important in our lives. The students noted the importance and they had made two jingles , play,speeches for it. They went to another branch of their school after performing the jingles and play in their own school for spreading the ‘AWARENESS FOR EYE DONATION & BLOOD DONTATION.’ There was a SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN too.

Eye donation is very important in our lives. The students noted the importance and they had made two jingles , play,speeches for it. SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN

Students Who participated in play

Students told in there speech that Last year, only 41,000 eye donations were made in India, a

country that needs 2.5 lakh donations annually.

Out of these, only 30 per cent that is, only 12,000 corneas, could be used for eye transplants.

The Prime Minister has become the latest in the list of public figures to pledge to donate his eyes.

But alarming statistics show that last year 70 per cent of the eyes donated went to waste.

The Union Health Ministry has flagged some shocking statistics.

STUDENT WHO GAVE SPEECH.

70 per cent of the eye donations last year went waste and were given away for academic research.They told about the benefits and incentives that is provided by different countries govt. to those people who pledge to donate their eyes.

Today’s youth are educated but still they lack info about blood donation. There are many misconception about blood donation in India .Among the society these misconceptions should be there checked and cleared so that all of us could come forward to help the needy.

STUDENTS LISTENING THE IMPORTANCE OF BLOOD DONATION & EYE DONATION.

Students are planning to go to different govt.offices to spread the eye donation & blood donation awareness. They are going to do the same play at the ‘CENTRAL JAIL IN HYDERABAD’. For spreading awareness.

They will go to traffic police headquarters and Police headquarters to perform and for the SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN.

Students get to know about the value of DONATION.
