This included over 2,500 business appointments generated over the 2-day event, an impressive 2.5 buyers to 1 exhibiting company ratio, an unprecedented strength of the local buyers’ participation as the ratio of Indian buyers surged to an all-time high of 71%, as well as the successful debut of the Association Day and Corporate Performance programmes. Other new initiatives launched at IT&CM India included the inaugural Online Diary facility. Delegates benefited from the facility as they were able to complete up to 100% of their business appointments before their arrival in Delhi. Satisfied exhibitor Anasri Onn, Director of Sales of ParkRoyal on Kitchener Road, Singapore enthused on the effectiveness of the Online Diary, “We already had 96% of our appointments scheduled way before the event commenced. It was really easy to use, and allowed us to review and update our on-site business schedule at any time.” The refreshing tabletop exhibition format was also a hit with exhibitors. Manal Saad, Assistant Regional Director of Al Tayyar Travel Group, Egypt, praised the event as a platform that helped them achieve their business objectives, “IT&CM India attracts reliable exhibitors, evident from the various international and domestic CVBs, NTOs and corporates seen at the show. In addition to that, we also met with potential buyers from India and across the world.” Darren Ng, Managing Director of TTG Asia Media said, “India is one of the key emerging sources of MICE business for the world. IT&CM India aims to provide international and domestic exhibitors a platform to explore business opportunities with the Indian market. As event organisers, we worked hard to bring the right mix of exhibitors and buyers together. ” Raag Verma, Director of Sales from Kempinski Ambience Hotel Delhi echoed the same sentiments, “Attending IT&CM India provided us with good branding and marketing opportunities to promote the Kempinski brand to both International and Domestic conference organisers. Many of our business leads generated during the show are in the process of materialisation.” Karnataka, Kolkata, Ludhiana, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Mumbai, New Delhi, Pune, Telangana, and Tripunithura. Participants are responsible for organising close to 40 conferences throughout the year, attracting more than 27,000 delegates. Some of the associations represented include All India Officer’s Association, Association of Medical Physicists of India, Association of Radiation Oncologist of India, Computer Society of India, Indian Academy of Cytologists, Indian Academy of Pediatrics, Indian Endodontic Society, Indian Medical Association, Indian Printed Circuit Association, Luminescence Society of India, and Society For Biotechnologists of India (SBTI). Hence the knowledge I gained at IT&CM India’s Association Day was very useful.” In addition to education forums, Association Day’s one-day programme included business appointments, destination presentations by CVBs and NTOs, as well as invitation to hosted networking events. Held from 19 to 21 August 2014 at the Kempinski Ambience Hotel Delhi, the 2014 IT&CM India event was deemed a success with the event scoring numerous highs to the satisfaction of attending delegates.

This included over 2,500 business appointments generated over the 2-day event, an impressive 2.5 buyers to 1 exhibiting company ratio, an unprecedented strength of the local buyers’ participation as the ratio of Indian buyers surged to an all-time high of 71%, as well as the successful debut of the Association Day and Corporate Performance programmes.

Other new initiatives launched at IT&CM India included the inaugural Online Diary facility. Delegates benefited from the facility as they were able to complete up to 100% of their business appointments before their arrival in Delhi.
