Install camera to the right of the rear view mirror.

If your vehicle does not have a rear view mirror, place the camera in asimilar position so the front camera can view outward, and the rearcamera can view the vehicles cabin.

"This picture illustrates the best positioning of the camera, which is to the right of the rear view mirror. If your vehicle does not have a rear view mirror, install the camera in a similar location, so that the cameras can view both the front and cabin of the vehicle."4WIFI Adaptor

With the optional WIFI Adaptor, you can have wireless downloading of data.

Once WIFI adapter is installed, vehicle must be at rest for 3 minutes within WIFI router range to download camera data.8Configuration/InstallationWe will now begin installing and configuring the cameras programsand server from your computer.

From this point on, we are going to be installing and configuring your server settings, the camera's viewing software, the WiFi adapter settings, and the Camera's search software. If the instructions are followed properly, your camera will be able to wirelessly send data to your computer.9

Create New Folder in Program Files Name the folder whatever youd preferCreate a New Folder in your program files folder located on your C: drive (you may name this folder anything you like).

This folder is where your camera files will be saved.

We will begin by going to your ' Program Files Folder ' on your ' C: Drive '. Once in your Program Files folder, create a ' New Folder ' and name it whatever you'd like. We'll use the name 'Janus' in this demonstration. This folder is where we will direct your camera's data in a later step.10Go to: www.safetytrack.net/zftp.exe Download ZFTP ServerGo to www.safetytrack.net/zftp.exe to download andinstall ZFTP Server Suite.

Double click the downloaded file or press Run and proceed tothe next slide for installation instructions.

At this time, we're going to set up your server. Go to "www . safetytrack . net -forward slash- Z F T P . exe" to download the free ZFTP server suite. This software will enable your WIFI adapter to communicate data to your computer.11Installing ZFTP ServerStep 1: Agree to the TermsStep 2: Check to installzFTP Server and zFTP Server administrationStep 3: Create an administrationpassword and remember thepassword as it will be needed infuture steps

Open the ZFTP Server Administration setup file we've just downloaded. Click Agree to Terms on Step 1. On Step 2, check to install both ZFTP servr and ZFTP server administration. Step 3 will have you create a password. Remember this password as you'll need it to login later.12ZFTP Server(Set up)Once the ZFTP Server is installed, open the program.

Enter the username Admin and the password you chose fromthe previous slide.

Once opened, click Setup, then click Accounts.

Now you'll open ZFTP Server Administration. For the username, enter 'Admin' and then enter the password you selected from the previous slide. After the server connects, click 'Setup' and then click 'Accounts'Run through the set up of the software. Create a user name and password for your account. You do not have to change the localhost:3145. Once you have this on your server, it should look like this.

Check all BoxesClick Users, then click Admin.Next, Click AddResource and locate the folderyou created inProgram Files.Check all of theboxes underFiles andDirectories

Under the setup tab of the ZFTP server, click on Users. Go to Admin and you should see this page. Browse and find the file name that you created in your program file and click it. check off all boxes in Files and Direstories. Then click OK on Left bottom of page.14

When the installation is complete, open the Camera Viewing Software.

At this time, we need to download the Camera Viewing Software. Go to "W W W . safetytrack . NET -forward slash- download viewer . exe" Follow the installation steps and install the Camera Viewing Software. When this is finished, open the software.15Janus Viewer

Once installed, insert your SD card into a reader and insert into your computer. Program all your event settings, as stated in the user manual. Click on the set up Tab to format SD card for wireless.

Vehicle InformationClick User Settings

Fill in informationUnder the Car Infotab.

On the user Setting tab, To keep vehicle information separate as it is downloaded to the server, you need to make sure that the vehicle information is filled out completely.17Find Your IP Address (Command prompt)

Click the StartMenu in the lowerleft of yourcomputer

Click Run andtype in cmd (if youre using windows 7, click the Start Menu and type cmd in the search box.)

When the Command Promptopens, type inipconfig to find your IP address.**Write down/save your IP address number**

(sample IP address, yours will be different)From the command prompt of your computer/server, find the IP address for your computer. Type in IPCONFIG to locate the address.18WIFI Set Up

While still in the camera setup menu,click Wireless.

Enter your ZFTP UserID (which is probably Admin) and the ZFTP password we set up earlier.

Enter your computersIP Address

Under the wireless tab, put in your user name and password for your ZFTPServer account. 19Wireless Router Info

Enter your routersname and password/key.(configured when you set up your router, the same name/password otherwireless devices use)

Set the Auth Mode toWPAPSK

Set the Encryp Type toAES

Press OK to save settingsComplete the router information. Make sure that you have the name and authentication key for the router. The Auth Mode should be set for WPAPSK and Encryp Type should be AES. Go to www.safetytrack.net/support/installation

Click Janus Search File and follow the download and installation instructions.

Now download the Viewer software. 21Janus Search Software

After installation, open the Janus Search Software

Upon opening, point the software to the new folder we created in your Program Files folder

The Janus Search Software will organize these data files so they may be located with easeOnce the Janus search is downloaded and installed onto your computer you need to poit it at the program file that you named in the first step.22Data Management Software
