What’s Next?

Battle Group North Dallas is look-ing for new members, and is plan-ning for their second organized ses-sions. At this time the game will beheld at Shawn’s house, but this canbe changed to Madness Games andComics based on possible new userturnout.

Ownership Federation Commanderproducts is NOT a requirement formembership and/or playing, althoughit wouldn’t hurt. Shawn and Brianhave copies of the full rule book, anda house rule book will be availablefor other players. There are enoughmaps for three concurrent games, and

plenty of ships and scenarios for 1, 2,3, and even 4 player games.

If you’ve ever been interested in StarTrek, the Star Trek universe, or ifyou’ve just always wanted to be thecaptain of your own starship this is afantastic opportunity to give the gamea try. Best of all, unlike Star FleetBattles, all of the Federation Comman-ders rules fit in a 100 page documentwith maybe an 8th of those pages usedduring an actual game. The remain-der of the rules are set aside for veryspecific situations, and various racialabilities.

Wanted:1. Players, players, and more

players!!2. Content and submissions

for the monthly newsletter. These newsletters are re-viewed by Amarillo DesignBureau, and new and excit-ing content is a plus so thatwe can maintain our BattleGroup status.

3. New modules! Currentlywe are playing with the Ro-mulan and Klingon Bordersets. If there are any spe-cific races that players areinterested in you can al-ways just buy those mod-ules, and bring them togame days for your ownuse. The club will be ex-panding their sets accord-ingly, but everyone maycontribute.

4. More one-off games. Play-ing formally once a monthis fun, but we’d like to seecasual game nights outsideof scheduled events.

5. Miniatures: Would there bemore of an interest in play-ing Federation Commanderif there were actual paintedminiatures to use insteadof cardboard chits? Thoseare also an option. Just letBrian or I know, and we canmake that happen.
