WCGMS field trip MUST sign a liability waiv-
er BEFORE participating in the field trip.
The hobby of the rockhound has many dif-
ferent aspects. We are collectors of minerals,
fossils and agates. Some are craftpersons in
many types of lapidary arts including cabbing,
faceting, beading or wire wrapping. Knowledge,
skill and areas of interest are the rockhound’s
personal choice. Some of us are specialists who
collect only a certain type of mineral or fossil.
Others are generalists who look for variety in
specimens and buy, sell or trade to develop
their personal collections. Some of our mem-
bers enjoy showing their personal collections to
others, developing competitive exhibits, or de-
veloping educational exhibits for their own and
other people’s enjoyment.
Come and see what we have to offer you and
expand your interests in minerals, fossils, earth
science or the lapidary arts.
